| Я знаю, что многие ждут весной с нетерпением, когда же кафе откроют свои уличные веранды, и с удовольствием усаживаются именно на них, а не внутри кафе. Я совершенно не разделяю такие пристрастия, я не люблю открытые пространства и чувствую себя довольно неуютно. | I know that many people are looking forward to the spring when cafes open their outdoor verandas, and they are happy to sit on them, rather than inside the cafe. I do not share such preferences at all, I do not like open spaces and feel quite uncomfortable. |
| Хотя бывают исключения. В старинных европейских городах улочки и площади бывают настолько маленькими, что кажется, будто это небольшой зал кафе, а вовсе не улица. | Although there are exceptions. In old European cities, the streets and squares are so small that it seems like a small cafe hall, and not a street at all. |
| Никольская улица в центре Москвы не особенно широкая и здания на ней красивые. Но тут такой большой поток людей идёт туда и обратно, что я бы не хотела пить кофе рядом с таким движением. | Nikolskaya Street in the center of Moscow is not particularly wide and the buildings on it are beautiful. But there is such a large flow of people going back and forth that I would not want to drink coffee next to such traffic. |
