Show Me A Photo Contest Round 260-Zunzún (ENG-ESP)

​📸 Hello to the entire community! This is my entry for the Show Me A Photo Contest Round 260.

​In the photo, you can see a Cuban Emerald hummingbird (Zunzún), a species considered one of the smallest birds in the world. I found this particular one last Sunday at a farm in Ricabal (Guanabacoa, Cuba). This time, I actually had my camera ready because a friend and I had set out specifically to practice bird photography. It seemed like we weren't going to see a single bird until we finally discovered where they were all hiding.
​The zunzún is a bird I can spot instantly, even in the middle of a forest, and it is the bird I photograph the most with whatever device I have on hand. I simply love photographing them because hummingbirds are not easy to capture with a professional camera—and even less so with a mobile phone—since they fly so fast and generally avoid getting close to humans.
​That is why I decided to participate with this image. In many cultures, the hummingbird represents hope and positivity. They are also incredibly beautiful birds that you can find both in the city and across the Cuban countryside.
​I hope that people who are passionate about photography and nature, like me, enjoy this shot!

📸Hola a toda la comunidad. Esta es mi participación en el Show Me A Photo Contest Round 260.

​En la foto pueden ver un colibrí cubano (Zunzuncito), especie considerada como una de las aves más pequeñas del mundo. Este en particular lo encontré en una finca de Ricabal (Guanabacoa, Cuba), el domingo y esta vez tenía cámara en mano porque una compañera y yo nos dispusimos a ir a practicar fotografía de aves. Ese parecía que no íbamos a ver a ningún ave hasta que encontramos donde es que se estaban escondiendo. Realmente el zunzún es un ave que puedo ver en seguida en medio de un bosque y es el ave que más fotografía con lo que sea que tenga en la mano. Simplemente me gusta fotografiarlo porque los colibríes no son tan fáciles de capturar con una cámara profesional y menos con un móvil, ya que vuelan muy rápido y evitan acercarse a los seres humanos.
​Por eso he decidido participar con esta imagen. En varias culturas el zunzún representa esperanza y cosas positivas. También son aves muy hermosas que puedes encontrar tanto en la ciudad como en los campos cubanos.
​Espero que a las personas apasionadas por la fotografía y la naturaleza, como yo, también les guste la imagen.
