And figuratively speaking, I like to think that my "best friend" is the part of me that has learned to be resilient, the one that cheers me up when I'm down, the one that forgives me when I make mistakes, and the one that motivates me to keep going. That compassionate inner voice is, in the end, my best friend for life.
