🌸 Ladies of Hive Contest #273: How to cope with a constantly changing world [ES/EN]

Me parece loquísimo.

Hello, dear Ladies of Hive! I hope you are all doing well. Today I am stopping by to participate in the questions of the week with @joanstewart, who has some very interesting topics to discuss in these times. I would also like to thank my friend @naath for the invitation.
What advice would you share explaining how you equip yourself with knowledge and coping skills in an ever changing world. Include the elderly or young who share your daily journey through constant state of transition.
I think it all depends on each person's ability to adapt and accept change. I know older people who make an effort to learn about new technologies and how to use them to their advantage, but there are many others who refuse to change, and that ends up hurting them. I also think we should think about these issues. For example, digital technology is now widely used, even for going to the doctor. You need to have apps installed and know how to use them. Luckily, my parents have me to take care of these things, but I see many older people who don't even have a phone and are not given adequate care because they don't have these things. I think we should be more empathetic and considerate of each other and that not everything should always revolve around adapting to change, even though it would be best in the long run.
As someone who is terrified of change, I also find many things difficult, but once I see them, it becomes easier for me to incorporate them, although this does not mean that I like them. Rather, I try to adapt and accept that this is how the world works now, and that is fine, because the alternative is to be left out, which is not good either. Despite this, I am excited to think about the new changes and everything that is coming. Always for the better, of course.

When it comes to younger generations, I sometimes feel like I'm out of touch and talking like my parents when I say the famous phrase “in my day...” and well, now we're in a different era that is also ours, but we find change difficult. Young people are more malleable and adaptable, but sometimes it makes me sad that things are being left behind, such as the fact that technology is now very present in their lives from an early age and they have almost no regulation of screen time. So they are digital natives, but at a higher price. It's funny, I played video games from a very young age, and yet when I put a joystick in my nephews' hands, they didn't know how to use it because they're used to holding cell phones and find it difficult to maneuver with any other controller. I think it's crazy.
But anyway, what I wanted to say is that we shouldn't close ourselves off to the present and should try to incorporate as much knowledge as possible, as this also keeps the brain active. We have to learn to adapt and accept that the past is gone, and now it's time for the new, with its new challenges and obstacles, which I'm sure we'll be able to face if we set our minds to it.

Well, friends, that's it for my entry in the weekly contest. I only chose to answer the first question, which I think ties in a bit with both prompts. I hope you liked it, and I invite everyone who reads this to participate as well.
Thank you for reading and supporting my content.

Much in technology has changed at great pace, older generation rely on the children to assist, younger generation quickly adjust knowing no different.
Realizing this void, very young should still be taught to be creative without technology, around the home experimenting in whatever interests them, being involved in outdoor activities to the full.

Yes, I agree. We need to find a balance. Children also need outdoor activities and games, without technology.
Thank you so much for your comment, have a wonderful weekend!
