🌸 Ladies of Hive Contest #264: Important decisions and dreams fulfilled [ES/EN]

¡Hola queridas Damas de Hive! Espero que se encuentren todas muy bien. Hoy me paso por acá como siempre para participar de las preguntas de la semana de la mano de @jane1289 con temas muy reflexivos.

¿Cuál fue una decisión importante que tomaste recientemente que cambió algo en tu vida?

No tengo una situación puntual que se me ocurra ahora mismo. Pero siento que todo el tiempo estamos tomando decisiones que quizá no parecen tan importantes, pero que marcan el camino para que la vida fluya de alguna manera distinta y puedo nombrar varios ejemplos. Desde ir a un evento en el que conociste a personas que hoy forman parte de tu vida a partir de ese momento (me pasó este año), hasta empezar a hablar con alguien que terminó convirtiéndose en una persona importante, que te hizo vivir una montaña rusa de emociones, para al final darte cuenta que era una ilusión y tuviste que volver a rearmarte. Hablo en tercera persona, pero estoy haciendo referencia a mi vida personal. No reniego de esto porque considero que todo es un aprendizaje y ahora soy una persona más sabía. Siento que tuve que mudar de piel, como las serpientes, y que hoy soy una mejor versión de aquella de hace unos meses. Así que agradezco cada experiencia nueva que me tocó vivir este año y espero que vengan muchas más.

¿Qué sueño cumpliste del que tu yo más joven se sentiría orgulloso?

Siento que mi yo más joven estaría orgulloso de todas las cosas que fui logrando a lo largo de estos años, ya sea algo pequeño o algo grande, cada meta conquistada siempre es un triunfo y los sueños van mutando. Quizá uno se lo imaginaba de cierta forma, peor termina sucediendo de otra y eso también es lo divertido de la vida, lo que te sorprende y te saca de tu zona de confort. Todavía no logre grandes sueños, pero cada paso que doy sé que me acerca un poco más, y cuando miro hacia atrás me siento orgullosa de todo lo que recorrí para llegar hasta acá, aunque no parezca gran cosa a simple vista, solo uno sabe todo lo que tuvo que pasar para llegar a donde estamos ahora. Todas esas batallas que di e incluso las que fueron silenciosas me hacen sentir orgullosa de mi versión actual.

Hello, dear Ladies of Hive! I hope you are all doing well. Today, I am stopping by as usual to participate in the questions of the week, led by @jane1289, with some very thought-provoking topics.

What’s one big decision you made recently that changed something in your life?

I can't think of a specific situation right now. But I feel like we're constantly making decisions that may not seem that important, but that set the course for life to flow in a different way, and I can name several examples. From going to an event where you met people who are now part of your life (it happened to me this year), to starting a conversation with someone who ended up becoming an important person, who took you on an emotional roller coaster, only to realize in the end that it was an illusion and you had to rebuild yourself. I'm speaking in the third person, but I'm referring to my personal life. I don't regret this because I believe that everything is a learning experience and I am now a wiser person. I feel like I had to shed my skin, like a snake, and that today I am a better version of myself than I was a few months ago. So I am grateful for every new experience I had this year and I hope there will be many more to come.

What dream did you achieve that your younger self would be proud of?

I feel that my younger self would be proud of all the things I have achieved over the years, whether small or large. Every goal achieved is always a triumph, and dreams evolve. Perhaps you imagined it one way, but it ends up happening another way, and that's also the fun part of life, what surprises you and takes you out of your comfort zone. I haven't achieved my big dreams yet, but I know that every step I take brings me a little closer, and when I look back, I feel proud of everything I've gone through to get here. Even if it doesn't seem like much at first glance, only you know everything you had to go through to get where you are now. All those battles I fought, even the silent ones, make me proud of who I am today.
