¡Hola queridas Damas de Hive! Espero que se encuentren todas muy bien. Hoy me encuentran acá, en una nueva participación al concurso semanal de la mano de @amberkashif que nos ofrece preguntas geniales para responder. ¡Así que vamos a ello!

La creencia en presagios existe en todo el mundo. Si bien algunos son comunes en diferentes culturas, como los gatos negros o las estrellas fugaces, otros son más personales. ¿Has experimentado algo que se sintiera como una señal?

Me considero una persona bastante espiritual por lo que siempre estoy buscando señales, y pidiendo, del universo. Es curioso, pero a veces estas señales se manifiestan en forma de personas que entran a mi vida para enseñarme algo que debo aprender, soy bastante intuitiva. Esta intuición me salvó de robos y malos tragos porque lo sentí en mi cuerpo antes de que sucediera y eso me hizo estar más alerta. Hace unos meses conocí a alguien y al instante mi cuerpo lo supo, esa persona vino a enseñarme algo, sé que es algo bueno, pero que me costará un poco asimilar. Así que voy tanteando el terreno y más aterrada que nunca, pero al mismo tiempo estoy entusiasmada por ese nuevo camino que se está abriendo y me invita a seguir avanzando porque ya era hora y así está siendo. Así que sí, no tengo señales tan claras, pero de todos modos mi alma lo sabe, tengo que aprender a escucharla mejor.

Algunas cosas que poseemos pueden no parecer gran cosa para otros, pero para nosotros significan muchísimo. ¿Posees algo así que tenga un profundo significado, aunque a simple vista no tenga mucho valor? ¿Qué lo hace tan especial para ti?

Tengo muchas cosas significativas, soy alguien que se aferra a lo material. Le guardo cariño a mis cosas, aunque luego ya ni las utilice. Creo que unos objetos a los que le impuse un valor significativo y especial este último tiempo son las pulseras de la amistad. Esto empezó como algo que hicimos los fans de Taylor Swift para ir a sus conciertos a intercambiar las que fabricamos nosotras con las de otras personas. Tuve la suerte de que ella viniera en su último tour a mi país e intercambie algunas de las que hice por otras. Así que son objetos con un valor especial porque simbolizan canciones que me gustan o frases que me identifican. Aunque las que más atesoro son las que intercambié con una de mis mejores amigas, esas me las pongo siempre, sobre todo cuando estoy atravesando un momento difícil o necesito ser valiente. Las intenciono para que funcionen a mi favor y se fueron convirtiendo en mis objetos de la buena suerte, me dan buena energía y buena fortuna. Las uso cuando sé que voy a atravesar un momento que me genere ansiedad y así siento que no estoy sola, que mi amiga está conmigo.

No son mágicas ni nada, es el significado que cada uno le pone a las cosas lo que las hace especiales. Creo que a veces necesitamos esas creencias extras para darnos ánimos y valorar lo que fueron objetos dados con amor en algún momento significativo. Estas pulseras siempre me van a recordar lo feliz que fui haciéndolas y pensando en las personas que las iban a querer, y las que me hice especialmente para mí y mi amiga. Y aquellas otras que intercambie en el recital que tanto espere, así que sí. Son uno de mis objetos más preciados en la actualidad.

Hello dear Ladies of Hive! I hope you're all doing well. Today I'm here for another entry in the weekly quiz hosted by @amberkashif, offering us some great questions to answer. So, let's get to it!

Belief in omens exists all around the world. While some are common across cultures such as black cats or shooting stars, others feel more personal. Have you experienced something that felt just like a sign?

I consider myself a pretty spiritual person so I am always looking for signs, and asking, from the universe. It's funny, but sometimes these signs manifest themselves in the form of people coming into my life to teach me something I need to learn, I'm pretty intuitive. This intuition saved me from robberies and bad drinks because I felt it in my body before it happened and that made me more alert. A few months ago I met someone and instantly my body knew it, that person came to teach me something, I know it is something good, but it will take me a bit to assimilate. So I am testing the ground and more terrified than ever, but at the same time I am excited about this new path that is opening and invites me to keep moving forward because it was time and so it is. So yes, I don't have such clear signs, but my soul knows it anyway, I have to learn to listen to her better.

Some things we own may not look like much to others, but to us they mean the world. Do you have something like that in your possession that holds deep meaning, even if it’s not worth much on the surface? What makes it so special to you?

I have many significant things, I am someone who clings to material things. I am fond of my things, even if I don't use them anymore. I think that some objects that I have given a significant and special value to this last time are the friendship bracelets. This started as something that we fans of Taylor Swift did to go to her concerts to exchange the ones we made ourselves with other people's. I was lucky that she came to her concerts to exchange the ones we made with those of other people. I was lucky enough to have her come to my country on her last tour and I exchanged some of the ones I made for others. So they are objects with a special value because they symbolize songs that I like or phrases that identify me. Although the ones I treasure the most are the ones I exchanged with one of my best friends, I wear them all the time, especially when I'm going through a difficult time or need to be brave. I intend them to work in my favor and they have become my good luck items, they give me good energy and good fortune. I use them when I know I am going through an anxious moment and I feel that I am not alone, that my friend is with me.

They are not magical or anything, it is the meaning that everyone puts on things that makes them special. I think sometimes we need those extra beliefs to encourage us and value what were objects given with love at some significant moment. These bracelets will always remind me how happy I was making them and thinking about the people who would love them, and the ones I made especially for me and my friend. And those others that I exchanged at the recital that I waited so long for, so yes. They are one of my most precious objects today.
