The Janitor's Call

During the high-stake spy metting, someone's phone went off playing the theme song from Babie-Girl and it was the boss's ringtone, every one gave the boss a look that could be interpreted for a question one.

Before the commencement of the meeting,she had told everyone present to either switch off their phones or put it in silent mode to avoid any form of distraction during the meeting.

After what seems like enternity, I was able to see through the boss like a mirror, then I understood she has the same look as everyone of us which could only mean that the phone does not belong to her.

Then the search began. We needed to be sure that we do not have a snitch who may want to tell our plans to the enemy in our midst. After a tough search we found it. It was an old Nokia phone resting behind the jacket hanger by the entrance of the conference room.

The janitor claimed it as her's and said she had been looking for it all morning. She said she must have mistakenly left it behind when she came to clean the room before the meeting began.

The boss sized it as she was not convinced with her excuse as to how the phone got there. she promised to return the phone to her after we finish executing the plane we agreed on at the meeting by two days time. To our surprise, the janitor agreed without hesitation.
