Susan Bellefeuille Path of Lucas.

Good day everyone, welcome to my blog.

I can't believe it's the weekend already given the fact that schools are on holiday. I barely have two days of rest but fear not, I have been doing things that I love with my time and I will feed you in on it later on.

In response to this week's weekend engagement contest, I will be responding to the second question. The book I will be reading this weekend is a book titled Part of Lucas the journey he endured by author Susanne Bellefeuille.

I chose to read this book because of two things. The first one is that the book is one of the prescribed literature texts for my son who is in senior high school and I like to be part of his progress. I need to read the book for better understanding to be able to revise with him during external and internal examinations.

Secondly, I am a lover of literature works that have to do with biography and auto biography, this book,Path of Lucas is one of such. From what I have read so far, Lucy was living in Kingston, Ontario in Canada and had earlier decided to spend the weekend with her father who lives in Alexandria.

During the course of her journey she was involved in a fatal accident that she became unconscious, the police called her husband and the husband called her father Lucas who decided to tell the story of his life to his daughter Lucy in order to keep himself busy beside his unconscious daughter laying on the hospital bed.

Lucas told the story in third party form with no response from Lucy. He told the story as if everything happened just yesterday without leaving out any little detail like the color of the sky or the description of the weather or names of people that matter but was only talking to his daughter (Lucy)who was lying unconsciously on the hospital bed.

So far, Lucas has made us know how he met and married his wife Isabella, how they had three children and how Isabella risked her life to have their fourth daughter who was Lucy. I am hoping to finish reading this interesting novel before the weekend runs out.

Thanks for taking your time to read through, Yours truly @elizy, a teacher, mother and passionate writer.

Reading seems to me an interesting and pleasurable proposal because you learn and have fun. I also like biographical books and I enjoy them.
This one has a special charm because it will be shared with your son.
I taught high school and I assure you that your child will appreciate you sharing your knowledge. Have a great weekend. Cheers and best regards.
