LOH242: Presidential Candidate.

Hello people, welcome to my blog.

This week prompt reminds me of an aspiration I had during my second year in tertiary institution that was taken away from me in a cunny way. I had aspiration of becoming the AGS(Assistant General Secretary) of my department.

Unfortunately I was asked to step down. Not because my GPA was not enough nor because I was not socialable amongst my peers and senior friends but I was asked to step down because the post had been promised to another candidate and the Chairman of the electoral committee said he does not want me to waste my time and money in purchasing form and campaign.

Presentlly, our dear country is facing a lot of challenges but the two important ones are hunger and insecurity. I will campaign to my people based on this two but I will talk about the later first.

I mean I will let the people know that you can not rule a nation with an empty stomach, so to make a great nation we need to go into agriculture. For a start, we may have paid farmers that will work directly for the government to provide fresh food for citizens in all states at affordable price and I believe this will encourage a lot of people to go back into independent commercial farming.

From what I was able to gather from the news, some farmers in the northen part of Nigeria had stop farming because of insecurity on the farm, the army battalion will be deployed to farm settlement so the farmers can be rest assured that they are secured as they farm.

My administration will focus on Agriculture and security using this to develop our domestic market. We may later be able to sale our processed or finished products to neighboring countries or other international market creating room for social and economical growth and development.

That hunger and insecurity issue is a big one that needs to be tackled in my country o. The masses are suffering really but we are all hoping for good things.

It's really upsetting to hear how your opportunity to run the AGS was taken away like that -especially when you were clearly qualified and motivated. That kind of politics is so discouraging but I admire how you've turned that experience into fuel for your leadship vision

Your focus on agriculture and security is so on point. You're absolutely right, people can't function, let alone thrive, on empty stomachs or in fear. I love the idea of government-supported farming to boost food security and create jobs. It's a practical and powerful plan
