Beer Saturday: ❄️ Snowflake ❄️ by Black Sheep Brewery

(Edited)

In my local supermarket the halloween beers have all disappeared to be replaced by the Christmas beers. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas! I'm not a big drinker but I like an occasional beer especially if there's a football match on. I liked the look of a beer called 'Snowflake' from the Black Sheep Brewery that is based in Yorkshire, UK. Yorkshire is the next county to me so it's fairly local.

Normally, I prefer a dark beer but I thought I'd give something different a try. This 3.7% pale ale was cheap enough at £1.80 for a 500 ml bottle. As I'm not a big drinker, even though it is a small bottle, it will take me two days to drink it!

The verdict: I quite enjoyed it. The taste is of citrus with a flowery aroma. Even though it is aimed at the Christmas winter market, it is a beer that could easily be drunk all year round as it is quite refreshing.

I quite like the black sheep logo as well! I'm collecting bottle lids to make something arty with them. I'm not sure what to make though. Perhaps a mosaic.

This is #beersaturday week and I would like to invite @derbyshirelad.

#beersaturday is initiated by @detlev.

It was just for the photo shoot. 😁 My decorations go up on the 1st December. I don’t put a lot up these days. I find the more you put up, the more you have to take down!
