The Other Side Of Honor. A Story Of a Cheater
Lately, I completed one of the side quests which was Whispers In The Woods in the Yagata forest. I fought and defeated the group of bandits who were spreading rumors and killing innocent people and set the Yagata forest area.
The beauty of the forest really impressed me. The Yagata state was very lovely. On one side is a vast rice field, on the other side is a dense forest, and next to it are high mountains. After the mission, I took this charming photo from the Yagata state.
Near the Shegonoris Peak, I found a mission that seemed important for a samurai, "The Other Side Of Honor." I was sure that this mission would be connected with the samurai or something so I wanted to give it a try.
That was a long road, about 900 meters. I went there and saw that a few people had built a settlement in the corner of the mountain. Yet I had no idea what the mission was.
The view was beautiful from up there. I stood on a rock and took some photos of it. You can see the Mountains from there. The last photo I took after completing the mission. It was the time of sunrise and the environment became so peaceful. Our warrior was standing on a rock, looking out over the small settlement that he had freed from a cheater. It feels like a moment just before a new journey begins.
I entered the house and found a few women there. They were very happy seeing me alive. A samurai was their hope to survive. After I talked to one of them, I came to know that a samurai named Jinroku had been staying with them for a couple of days. Jin was surprised because he had never heard this name.
After a few moments the samurai named Jinroku came back and entered the house. As soon as he saw Sakai, he was shocked yet he tried to stay calm and started to talk about the fight. While talking, the man said that the fight was held on Komatsu Beach but it was the Komuda Beach. My suspicions grew even more.
I went out to find some clues about this man. First I went to the stable to see his horse. Found out that it was a farm house that had never been in a battle. Even the saddle was stolen from lord Higuchi. I became sure that he is not a samurai.
I quickly returned to the house but Jinroku had already left. I went out fast and started searching for him. I ran into the jungle because I saw his footprints on the road. After a few paths ahead, I saw him running towards the hill. I followed him to the edge of the cliff, where he stood and called for a duel.
He was doing a lot of drama at first, trying to convince me that he was a great warrior. My intention was clear, I was going to kill him. And most probably, he understood my intention. As I moved forward to attack, he started to beg for mercy. He said that he lost everything. So he was just trying to survive with the help of those women. Sakai let him go but warned him not to come back again to this area.
