LOH week #273: My Advice to both Young and Old from my own experience

Happy new year friends in ladies oi hive community is my pleasure to be with you this year 2026

My advice to both Young and elderly using myself as an example, the world is not a bed of roses as said, meaning the going is not usually smooth knowing fully well that things change every day by day we need to get ourselves equipped and ready for any uncertainty seeing that things happen the other way round most times not as planned

That's why in life we need to have plan B, if A didn't work B will, we should not depend on only one thing for a living because that one may fail one day and when there's no second plan it becomes difficult to meet up with essential life expectations, I think am taking to the young ones now, who still have time to plan their future even as they go to school they should find out time even if is during holidays to go learn any skill of their choice and for the elderly you have a big role to play in helping to convince them, make them see reason why they should learn skill at the right time to equip themselves in case after school no job yet, they can be doing that for a living to avoid being stranded

Just like when I found out that the only work I was doing cannot no longer sustain me in future, l mean that the demand might be higher than my income as time goes on, i decided to equip myself with the knowledge of fashion designing, I had to squeeze out time from my work to go learn the skill and today am enjoying it and I have nothing to regret rather am happy I did it in other to equip myself both financially and other wise and my advice to both Young or Elderly whatever you want to do, do it bf ast when there's still time

Times are changing, economic situation isn't getting any better and the cost of living is on the increase. So one needs to think of ways to make ends meet.

Learning an additional craft or talent as a backup plan always a good idea, so many youth have higher education yet no employment, you must have a plan B.
