Ladies of Hive community contest #264 : Changing the narrative of wait for daddy to come back before you eat biscuits

Good day ladies and gentlemen and lovers of ladies of Hive community am attempting the number one question of the week by @jane1289 : what dream did you achieve that your younger self would be proud of?

Leaving every responsibility for men alone especially when the man's job is not strong enough and the kids are many, it kills men easily

You may be enjoying it today as a house wife just pray the opposite don't happen either the man is sacked or die because of depression, many men don't sleep at night where they're thinking of how to pay house rent, children school fee, feeding and other bills hipped for them to pay

Growing up as a younger child and coming in contact with such families got me so much angry, that a woman will be in the house those years even today some women still do it, just be in the house except the man gives them, they can't do anything good for themselves and children, no contribution to offer in the family as a woman knowing how the man is struggling for the upkeep of the family, such women gossip and fight a lot in the compound haha

Life is a very big teacher only if you refuse to learn and make amends from other people's mistake because such women didn't end well even in their marriages, sometimes when they are sick and the man don't have money at that moment, they may die because there was no money to buy drugs

And most of them ended up messing up with those brothers bachelors that cook in the compound when everyone have gone to work as some of those bachelors do night jobs and comes back in the morning to cook, eat and rest

As I was dreaming of what to become in future, those ills are what I never dreamed of becoming but rather to work so hard to become a good woman of integrity and respect of course how you treat yourself is how people regard you as

That's why growing up to avoid all of that, I struggled to go to school, and also I ventured into many skill acquisitions just to say no to poverty because is killer disease and should be avoided seriously, so going into different skills I guessed one or two must work if A didn't work B must

As I just read what an author in last week's contest here said and putting it in my own way, you must not be a degree holder to obtain success in life, in your own little way keep trying, don't be a seat down de look wife or woman please do something to move your life forward

And also to avoid when the husband is not around or the money he drop is not enough and the children comes to you and say mummy i want to eat biscuit and mummy will say there's no money wait for your Daddy to come back and buy biscuit for you, that's an error and my younger self said no to that

Yes some women are lucky they are married to men who can provide all for them but not all men can do that, immediately my younger self saw that, I started working hard not to depend on hubby's money though eating their money is sweet sha but to eat my hard earned money is sweeter for me

And so my younger self is so proud of me today because all the good dreams I had in this aspect has finally come true, today I make my own money and buys things for my children through my civil servant work combine with my fashion work, because I hate to stay idle, after office I move to my fashion work infact I love learning new things that is why am here with you in Hive

Today I am up and grateful to the creator of heaven and earth who kept and helped me to see this dreams come true and today my younger and older self is so proud and happy, all glory to God
