prenuptial agreement is a business contract between two people before they get married.
This agreement outlines how debt, financial responsibilities, death, and the event of divorce would be handled. Even though it has certain advantages like clarity, business advantages, and efficiency, I am more comfortable with a marriage where two are truly one.
The purpose of marriage is that two becomes one. When a prenuptial agreement is struck before marriage , it defeats the purpose of marriage and opens a crack in the home where trust leaves, pretense dwells, and love does not find a place. Having such agreement before marriage means; he or she does not trust the other enough to commit their heart to, the relationship is not built on love but business, and one of the parties has a deformed mentally.

A lot of people may weigh today's era and apply it in every phase of their lives. They are not wrong to do so. Judging from daily events heard from news and friends nearby, one may be apt to take such decisions to protect their future. But why decide to settle with someone whom you don't trust? If the foundation of marriage is faulty, then the whole building has a weak ground to stand. It's not about the decadence in our today society, it's about the initial purpose of marriage.
Why raise a family with someone who you can't trust with your wealth, support, or is aware of their role in marriage? The fault starts from the process of marriage, not in marriage. Prenuptials may look all good, but it's a societal ideology to neutralize what's sacred, giving little or no relevance to the concept of marriage and oneness.

I totally agree with your submission on the topic. Prenuptial agreement actually defeats the whole idea of what marriage should be. If I can't trust someone with everything I own, what's then is the need to enter into marriage with the person.

Yep, in a perfect world, people should only marry each other if they really love and trust each other. But life isn't perfect, and neither are people. Look, I strongly believe in being there for each other through thick and thin, and that one should only get married if they're committed to spending the rest of their life with their partner, but it comes down to how much we're willing to endure to keep a marriage together.
