While my colleague was telling me about pubs in Novi Sad that, in addition to excellent beers, also have good food, a visit to the city pub in Novi Sad a year and a half ago was running through my mind...

HOG Pub, which he told me about, pours beers that are produced in a craft brewery in Novi Sad and they have several beers on offer.
"When you're passing by, be sure to stop by," he told me...
"Obviously, because I remember that one of their beers, Thor IPA, was very nice to me, but the question is whether I will be able to drink beer in the bar, because when I'm passing through, I'm always in the car, and then there's no drink".
I made the decision to stop by the moment he told me: "They also have beers on tap, to take away".

Due to the January and February celebrations I have every year, and the amount of alcohol I drank during those celebrations, I didn't get to taste the beers I would feature on #beersaturday but this Saturday, I'm off duty, I don't need to drive anywhere, so I'll treat myself to a good beer.

I stopped by the HOG pub ​​in the morning.
The pub had just opened, so the bartender and the waitress looked at me in amazement, probably thinking "What did this guy do, as soon as we opened"

I asked the bartender to give me bottles of all the beers they have on tap, to see which one I would choose and after analyzing the labels, I decided on Mjolnir, NOT IPA style.
Thor, I've already drunk Classic IPA, but NOT IPA was the winner for me between:
Loki, Amber Ale
Ragnar, American Pale Ale
Bjorn, German Wheat Ale
Freyja, American blonde Ale

The waiter poured me a liter and I hurried home, to park the car and taste Mjolnir.

NewEngland IPA special unfiltered, unpasteurized, cloudy beer, in addition to water, it contains barley and wheat malt, oat and wheat flakes, hops and yeast.
As soon as I looked at the Mjolnar label, I knew what kind of beer was waiting for me.
With an extract of 15.3%, 6.4% alcohol is expected, with a full body and quite thick beer, and a high foam, which I believe, due to the citrus and tropical notes, will be drinkable.

As soon as I opened the bottle into which my beer was poured, the beautiful smell of tropical fruits spread around me.
When pouring, it gives a very firm, persistent foam, two fingers thick.

Before the first sip, I put my nose to the top of the glass and if I hadn't seen what I poured into the glass, I would have thought that there was a bowl of tropical fruit in front of me.
What a nice refreshing fruity scent.

The first sip, the refreshing aromas of citrus, on my tongue completely eliminated any feeling of a higher percentage of alcohol, and the taste of fruit remained the entire time of drinking the beer.

The HOG brawery stated for this beer:
"Mjolnir, NEIPA, is a bold beer with an extraordinary taste that commands attention, just like the mighty hammer of Thor. Strong, full-bodied and with a stunning orange grapefruit color, this beer stands out even among the best. Strong aromas of grapefruit and peach, complemented by a subtle hint of lime peel."

I agree with every line of this text.
It's just that this hammer Tora knocked me down and got me really drunk 🙂
They say "stunning" orange grapefruit color?
Is it possible that I am in a daze because of such a beautiful color? I don't think so and that the 6.4% alcohol content of this beer had an effect on the stupor.

While I'm sitting and drinking the last sips of this great beer, I'm already making a combination in my head of how to get to the HOG Pub without a car, and to try the other beers of the HOG brewery directly on the taps.
Because, if out of the 6 they have on offer, I can recommend two, I definitely think that I should give the remaining wheat, lager and red beers a chance, and at the same time enjoy the fantastic food that my colleague told me about.
