Irish Red ALE tasted at the Weekend Bazaar Fest
On a warm sunny day this weekend, I wanted to take a walk around town.
My plan was changed with the information that the Weekend Bazaar Fest is being held this weekend, where we regularly buy some small items, aromatic refreshments, soaps, toilet water and some sweets.
To get to that location, we had to go by car.
And when I go by car, I'm always unable to drink more beer, which they have there on stands and taps.
It was the same this time.
I found a new producer: BanatBeer from Kikinda.
They had two beers on tap, a Lager and an Irish Red Ale.
It was quite warm and I needed refreshment. Of the two offered, I chose the Irish Red ALE.
Irish red ale, unpopular in our country, I haven't met it anywhere so far, this is an interesting style that I wanted to taste.
They poured me a glass, which I didn't want to take a picture of - this dark red, almost brown beer in plastic. it didn't look good at all.
I looked at their offer (they have 6 beers), and as I wanted to walk around, I didn't think it was wise to buy a pack of all 6.
I chose these three, one Irish red, one IPA and one with the addition of pumpkin.
When I got home, I chilled the beers and poured the Irish Red Ale into a glass.
Pleasant, mild taste, watery body with a dry finish.
Caramel malt is emphasized, the beer is slightly bitter, with some aromas of forest fruits, mild bitterness and carbonation.
It has a dark, caramel color, quite good foam that stands well.
With the next tasting I will present you the remaining two bottles, and until then I will think about how they in BanatBeer brawery incorporated the pumpkin into one beer 🙂
Pumpkin beer? Indeed, a not-so-common combination, or? Maybe it is odd for me, as I know nothing about beers 😅😂
Considering the paint roller in your hands, which is a painter's tool (molerski), I'm surprised you don't drink beer 🙂
Have you never drunk beer or are you just not a connoisseur? I know the gentleman doesn't drink, but I don't know if any of those cans at the Graz picnic were yours?
I've tried beers brewed with ginger, quince, tomato, mango, probably some other fruit, but pumpkin, no.
Now I got out of bed 😅 and went to the fridge to check the ingredients on the label: water, barley malt, pumpkin and hops.
So, something new...
Follow my #beer community post next week, I'll describe how I liked it (or not)😀
Hello enjoy the beer ..after a long week it's good to have a drink with family and friends..have a wonderful day

Oh! A fun and unexpected twist to your weekend. Nice find with the Irish Red Ale, it looks refreshing. Looking forward to hearing about that pumpkin beer. Cheers!
make a good pumpkin beer is not easy but this one sounds delicious :D
I'll know more about the taste another day 🙂
So far i'm just surprised i came across this beer
Hey @honeydue, now we can go to Banat, they do have a craft brewery there! :) Not in the Czech villages (which do exist!), but still.
And we can trust Duško's taste buds, he's been soaking beer knowledge since he came across #beersaturday :)
Just wait until I drink everything I bought, to confirm if it's worth coming to Kikinda :-)
When I asked the seller what kind of water they cook with (because I know that Kikinda had problems with water), he told me that they built a new factory last year and that the water is now of super quality. Otherwise, they wouldn't be able to brew beer, if it was old factory water...
A water factory! Oh, what technology we already possess :))
Uff, if you know what trouble they had with drinking water, for many years, without proper water on the taps. it finally dawned on them last year, when that factory (water treatment plant) was put into operation.
:)
That was the only thing keeping us xD two beer experts say it's a go, it must be a go then
