Pinky and Spiky: DAO drama

Greetings, Draw A Day community I’m sharing my entry for the #PinkyAndSpiky comics contest with the theme Web 3 Promise.

Pinky the Piglet is staring at a screen full of DAO proposals:

42 Open a mushroom bakery
43 Ban mushrooms
44 Turn the bakery into an NFT cafe

Pinky feels stressed. She wonders what happens if she votes wrong. Spiky replies : Absolutely nothing. For six weeks.

From what I gathered there’s a waiting period after you vote. Proposals don’t take effect right away. So even if Pinky votes wrong, the proposal still needs time to pass, fail, or just get ignored. Nothing happens immediately and sometimes nothing happens at all. That’s the fun and pain of Web3 everyone gets a say but everything moves sloooow generally speaking. Hope you like my comics.

thank you for your entry in the Pinky and Spiky Comics Making Contest The way you tackled the Web3 voting system with Pinky and Spiky was both funny and thought provoking, especially with the 6week waiting period. Your dialogue flows so well, and the characters’ personalities really pop. Great job, and I hope you’ll keep creating for future challenges
