Hello DIYHub: Human-Animal Awareness Week is coming! 🐾

We’re thrilled to kick off a new themed challenge celebrating the bonds we share with animals at home and in the wild. This edition is all about the international #HARAWeek going from 9th-15th of November. Let’s craft with care and honor our connections with the creatures around us:

🐾 DIY Human–Animal Awareness Week 🌿

This Month: 🐶🐦 DIY for Pets & Wildlife 🌼

Let’s create projects that strengthen human–animal relationships and support the well-being of pets and local wildlife. Think of: Pet toys, bird feeders, insect hotels, hedgehog winter support and so on.

Why We Do This?

Because how we treat animals shapes healthier homes, kinder neighborhoods, and more vibrant ecosystems. Through handmade care we can help pets thrive, support wild species, and model respect for every living being. It does not matter how big or small your creation is: Let’s craft to connect, protect, and coexist.

🌸 What Can You Create?

Possibilities are endless again and it does not matter if you have pets or not. Here are some ideas to inspire you:

  • DIY pet enrichment toys, slow feeders, or snuffle mats
  • Bird feeders, water stations, nesting boxes
  • Hotels for bees and other beneficial insects
  • Cat or dog hideouts, perches, ramps, or scratch solutions
  • Safe wildlife shelters (hedgehog, frog, bat, or bug habitats)
  • Upcycled collars, bandanas, or pet beds (using soft, washable fabrics)

🌿 Be Eco-Friendly ♻️

As always, we encourage using natural or recycled materials whenever possible. Old bottles, wood pieces, coconut shells, fabric scraps, or broken decor can all become something beautiful again. Let’s keep our nature clean and creative 🌎

Thank you for protecting nature and the beings who share it with us!

🎁 Prizes:

  • 🥇 1st Place
    30 Hive / 800 Ecency Points
  • 🥈 2nd Place
    20 Hive / 300 Ecency Points
  • 🥉 3rd Place
    10 Hive / 100 Ecency Points

📌 How to Join:

✔️ Use the tag #DIYHARA (and optional #HARAWeek)
✔️ You can send more than one entry
✔️ Deadline: 28th of November

Talented drawing. A beautiful decoration with snails. And a beautiful wall decoration with wood and stones to keep keys is great.

@diyhub Sir, love for you and all your team members for your hard work. Love for animals, joy, relationships, loneliness, seeing it in the form of art, is a new celebration participation again.

Best regards @mdakash62

The theme of this year's contest is certainly exciting and intriguing. This initiative is very logical for a great combination of human beings, animals, and world life. There is a very close relationship between humans and animals, which we will certainly try to highlight through the contest.

@diyhub, I failed to pay out 0.962 HIVE and 0.115 HBD to reward 3 comments in this discussion thread.

My wallet is running low on Hive or HBD. I will try again later.
