What Social Media Apps Have Become
The world today is full of different social media apps and different sites both the ones that are important and the ones that are irrelevant, yes every site has a particular purpose why it was created by the owners, some apps now do same thing with different names and logo, some serve purpose very well while others been used to scam naive people.
Years ago we had apps like 2go, Blackberry messenger and really those apps were fun, I had friends that I never met but yeah as the time go by everything changes and people move on.
Back then I had opened a facebook account, and I can say for sure I actually miss those days, it was a competition between teenagers and young adults, the people with the highest likes and highest comments, from facebook we went for prom king and queen, selfie king and queen, people with relationships goals…there was no day I’d wake up to login to my account that I wouldn’t see people of my age back then doing relationships on facebook, looking back at it, it was actually crazy but then again it was fun, but since I left secondary I decide to go off facebook because it didn’t interest me again, and since 2015 I abandoned my account and never went back, some time again I opened another one but just to serve a particular purpose which is to follow my church service online but I can tell you guys for free that I don’t even remember the password so I don’t even login again.
The apps that I mostly use now are WhatsApp, Instagram, Snapchat for pictures and videos, TikTok to watch funny videos and also to learn from other bakers, and trust me that app has really been helpful to me, I have got so many recipes there for free.
Instagram is quite boring, but also helpful when you put alot of work, emphasis on alot of work. I still have WhatsApp on my phone because to me I feel its an intimate app, its an app for quick texting, I hardly ignore messages on WhatsApp except its a disrespectful message but on other apps messages can be there for days, and weeks and I wouldn’t even notice, apps like Instagram and on snapchat I only text and reply the people I know.
I have got other sweet apps like Pinterest that I look out for when I just want to see cute things, like dress styles, wallpapers, lifestyle and so on. My bank apps are no go areas even though they can be annoying sometimes but because my money is involved I don’t joke with them but most of the times I mostly turn off many of my apps unless I see a need to use them at the moment.
And now to the app that I actually dislike the most, personally I really don’t see a need for that app although billions of people enjoy it and I can tell you for a fact that since I uninstalled it I never missed it, and that app is X formerly known as twitter.
If you want to get dragged like a tiger generator, just be consistent there, I mostly dislike the app cause of it exposure to adult content, nudity there is A1– someone cannot scroll five minutes and not see nude photos everywhere which is very alarming.
