The price we pay as a true child of God.

Hello everyone, how are you all doing today, this is my first time sharing a story in this community, and one of the things that inspired me to post here is because I have read some interesting and inspiring stories here , and it made me want to share some of mine with you .
I will start by sharing with you guys my name and few things about me before I dive into my main topic, my name is Anuoluwapo Maria Ogunfuye, I am a graduate of Laspotech ( Lagos state polytechnic) currently known as Lasustech , I studied art and design, so I'm currently an artist.

I have been born again ever since I was a teenage, but trust me I don't even know what it means until recently I met jesus in his full glory and he made me realise what it means to be a child of God.

This particular day I decided to take a walk because I wasn't feeling myself, I was angry, unhappy , and I felt hopeless and helpless, while walking on road not far from my house, I met a young lady like me, who came to me with a very good manner of approach, and I liked her from that moment even without her saying much, then she started but asking me about what I do for a living, which school do I attended and all, I didn't even know she wanted to preach to me until she asked me if I was born again and I said yes, so she added by asking me a this question, if jesus comes now or let's say rapture takes place now , where I'm I going, heaven or hell, and surprising I could not answer and she asked me again and I told her hell ,and she smiles at me and said, as a born again Christian or an ordinary born again person ( either a Muslim or someone who is not a Christian but believes in Christ) that the person is automatically going to heaven, immediately I felt some burden removed from me, she told me not to condemn myself anymore and move closer to God in other to fulfil destiny, that day was the best day of my life, after that day I followed her to church just to check things out and trust me I fell in love ,

Now the reason I said there are prices we pay as a true child of God or lets say a true Christian is that I realized that it is one thing to give your life to Christ and to give him your life completely, when you give God your life completely it cost you, in a good way not bad,( in this phase Jesus is also referred to as God because they are one), when I started attending this church I saw youth, young girls, young boy doing the work of God, praying long hours, when I said long hours I mean 6,7,10, and even 24 hours in prayer, and I was like what the hell, how is this possible, and most of them are still in school, I was like how did they do it, when I got closer to them,I realise it's not easy, imagine as a Christian you most have a mentor ( someone who will disciple you) and after some time you must become a mentor yourself ( you must raise men) because some people destiny are also tied to you, imagine as a Christian you must pray long hours in other to fulfil destiny and when I talk about destiny I'm talking about your true purpose which is in the spiritual realm, not the, I want to become a lawyer or doctor because to do that you only have to be educated, imagine as a true Christian you need to be wise, you need to be filled with wisdom, knowledge and understanding which can be given to you by the holy spirit and also reading the word of God (Bible) daily and other inspirational books, and also as a Christian you need to be consistent in every thing you do when it comes to spiritual things.

I know you may think this are not a big deal, but let me break it down to you, you woke up in the morning as early as 5am and you started praying as you are preparing for work, and you are expecting to also have some few hours at list 3 hours of alone prayer without giving an excuse of I need to work and another three hours when you get home and you are saying you are tired, that is 9hours praying a day but you can't because of work, or the times you are supposed to take responsibility for your disciplines but you can't because you are busy, or even show up in church at list three times a week but you can't or the times you need to check up on your disciples, read together, pray together and even preaching together but you truly need to work because God himself do not accept laziness and at the same time do not accept excuses for not doing the things you are called to do on earth, this means the type of consistency and hard work we put into our natural activities (work, husband, children ,other family,and friends etc) is the same consistency and even more we need to put into the work of God Because either we like it or not we are all called for greatness, but are we willing to pay the prise for greatness, now see why I said it is not easy as a true child of God.
