Distinguishing Web3 and other web2 social media

Hello, everyone. It's another wonderful week to hop on this wonderful prompt that say's

I think it's over eight months i joined hive and from my experience i can tell that hive is amazing platform but also the web2 is also amazing.
Hive is a decentralized social media that allows creators to take control of their data, accounts, information and this is go for me because i remember when i had an account on Facebook and i was close to monetization and boom i woke up one morning and my account had been banned. I tried all i could but it was already late for me but here on hive no one has the right to ban or delete your account or share your information. This what makes web3 more better than the web2.
Here,on hive you take absolute control of your content unlike the web2 where they earn from your content and pays you for your content, most times it's not worth it. Here,you earn directly from your engagement,you don't need any verification to earn, no process before you start earning. All you need is just to create content or just mere engagement can earn you rewards.

But again, there's what is the web2 posseses that the web3 doesn't have which is that ceratin level of entertainment. Now don't get me wrong,some can just come here create content and leave and go spend hours on tik tok reels or some on Facebook to read update. This is so common in the web2 because they're are content creator competitors doing many unhealthy things for engagement here and there.

Hive information and everything about the blockchain is open to all, nothing is hidden from anyone, someone else can see your wallet but in the centralized the algorithms and the data are hidden and only visible to the developers.
