No. 3 of the bock series: Einbecker Winterbock

Okay guys - have you got ready your #icecubes? Because here comes Bockbier no. 3 in my tasting series.
And - WOW - I tell you, I really found a type of beer that got me hooked. I always considered bockbier just as a very strong version of normal beer, but no! Also No.3 convinced me again that this is the type of beer with the richest flavours, the most promising scent and the most beautiful colors.
From now on I have to admit: I am in love with that kind of beer. So my todays testing is the "Einbecker Winterbock" which can be translated as a winter-version of their original bock. Even the label says: "Like an evening in front of the fireplace"

Also set up the right athmosphere

Already when opening the bottle a very nice, malty scent came over and thats the one thing that is differend from the other two bocks, where at least I didn't recognize immediately. Pouring the beer in the glass showed this beautiful cloudy amber color we already saw in the other two tastings.

Also the foam confirmed my last time observations: creamy, dense, lasting - almost like a beery icecream. How can a beer deliver these kind of lovely features?

What else can I say more that "I loved it"? Well - there is the issue with the real high amount of alcohol those bockbeers contain. Dammit - here its 7.5 % Vol.

Thats not so nice and I immediately felt it in my knees ...
