Victory at Kjotve's Fortress.
I led an assault on Kjotve's fortress to find his son, Gorm. After scaling the walls and opening the main gates for my troops and Sigurd, I cornered Gorm in a large building. The coward fled on a horse, leaving us to celebrate a successful victory and enjoy the peace.

It was Gorm, the coward son of Kjotve, who challenged me while he was hiding safely behind the thick fortress walls. He did not want to face me in the open, so we decided to climb up the big walls to reach him.

After climbing up the walls, I started fighting and taking down the enemy soldiers one by one. I held the position until the rest of my team was able to come up and join me on the battles.
Together, we started slaying the enemy troops with our blades, pushing them back so we could take control of the high ground.

While the enemies were busy fighting my brave troops, I went for the main door, as Sigurd would not barge in without the door being opened from the inside.

There was another gate to pass before I could get to Gorm, but a big man blocked my path. He was strong and held a heavy weapon, so I had to take care of him first. It was not very hard for me to find an opening and take him down.

Then I opened the last gate so all my troops could infiltrate inside along with Sigurd. The fortress was now crawling with our warriors, and the enemy was starting to lose their grip on the battle.

Now that my troops were handling the enemies outside, I went for Gorm inside the big building. I found him hiding at a height, looking down at the chaos below. He still refused to fight me like a man, so I had to start climbing the wooden beams of the hall to reach him.

I started climbing up, but when I finally reached the top to get to the enemy, Gorm fled the place cowardly. He jumped down and took a horse to ride away as fast as he could.

We decided not to go after him right then, as the assault on the fortress was officially completed and the day was won.

I climbed down from the heights to get back to my people on the ground. They all cheered up because they were successful in the assault and had taken the fort.

I stopped there for a moment to enjoy the peace and watch my warriors celebrate the victory we had worked so hard to achieve.
That's all for now.

This assault looked like a true viking saga. That big man blocking the inner gate looked like a tough challenge. Finding that opening to take him down quickly shows how much your combat skills have improved.
Haha, size does not always mean victory. Thanks for the comment.
This mission was full of action. You were leading the attack on the fortress, which was very exciting to read. I liked how you climbed the walls and opened the gates for your team.
Actually breaking in from the top made it more fun.
The fight inside the fortress was very fun and intense. Sigurd and the warriors joining the fight made it feel like a real war. I liked how you cleared enemies step by step and slowly took control of the whole place.
Yeah, having Sigurd and the warriors there made it feel like a real battle.
It is a shame Gorm didn't stick around for a fair fight, but seeing him flee on a horse just proves he wasn't worth the effort anyway. Great captures 🤗
Thanks, that scene had a different kind of satisfaction.
The ending was a bit funny. The opponent running away like a coward made the moment different from other boss fights.
Yeah, it turned serious into funny real quick.
