Sailing for Home.

▶️ Watch on 3Speak

After snapping out of the vision, I freed my crew and fought our way to the longship using mostly my bow. We sailed toward home and decided to raid a small island outpost along the way. After successfully taking the outpost, I used the cinematic travel mode to enjoy the view until we finally reached home.

I came out of the hallucination just as one of the crew members called for me. I quickly moved to the cells and freed him along with the rest of the crew who were being held captive.

We prepared for a fight before stepping outside. As soon as we left the building, a group of enemies moved in to block our escape, forcing us into a confrontation.

Since the enemies were still a bit far away, I drew my bow. My first shot was a perfect headshot that took down a guard instantly, helping us gain the upper hand early on.

I stayed back and kept shooting until I had taken down about half a dozen enemies. I managed to clear the entire group using only my arrows without needing to switch to a melee weapon.

More enemies appeared as we pushed toward the docks. Since I have the difficulty set to easy, the combat felt smooth and I was able to handle the reinforcements without much trouble.

We finally reached our longship and climbed aboard. I took command and gave the order for the crew to set sail and head back toward our home settlement.

While we were sailing peacefully, the crew pointed out an enemy outpost on a nearby island. I had the choice to either ignore it or launch a raid, and I decided we weren't finished fighting yet.

We docked the ship and I blew the horn to signal the start of the raid. My crew and I charged in and wiped out the entire enemy force on the island before gathering the loot.

After returning to the longship, we started rowing toward our destination. I noticed a few more outposts along the coast, but I chose to ignore them this time to stay focused on the journey home.

I explored the different sailing options, like following the objective automatically and using the cinematic camera. It was a great way to take in the scenery as we finally pulled into our home docks.

That's all for now.

The raid on the small island outpost and the peaceful sailing afterward created a nice scene. Using the cinematic travel mode made the journey back feel beautiful

Emerging from that hallucination straight into a rescue mission was an intense transition. Valhalla is in my bucket list for sure, but after I finish Origins and Odyssey.

The moment you woke up from the strange vision was really interesting. It felt like the start of a comeback.

I noticed how effective your archery was during the dock push. Taking down half a dozen enemies before they could even get into melee range is a very efficient way to handle a crowd, especially with reinforcements coming in.
