A Melodic Return.
After securing the final treasures of the monastery with Dag's help and clearing out hiding bandits, I used Sýnin to tag remaining resources. I enjoyed the view from the monastery's peak before sailing back home. Finally, I built a grand new forge for Gunnar in our settlement.

My next objective was to return to my settlement and build Gunnar's forge, but I decided to claim any remaining treasures around the area first. This decision led me to this building that looked like it held the monastery's most valuable relics.

The door of this building was not something to break down with a simple axe strike, so I had to take help of Dag to open it up, using our combined strength to ram the door until the hinges finally gave way. We burst through the entrance with weapons drawn.

After getting inside, we found some bandits holed up there who were too scared to get out and fight us in the open courtyard. They had barricaded themselves there, hoping we would pass them by, so we had to take the fight to them.

There we found another big treasure box that I opened up with the help of one of my warriors, as the lock was massive. We got some good loots from there that would be useful for the settlement.

I called Sýnin, and from above I noticed the buildings were set on fire that we already looted, the smoke rising high into the sky. The sight was a grim testament to the power of the Raven Clan and our arrival in these lands.

Through the raven's eyes, I noticed there are more resources around in some buildings that I tagged to investigate.

Then I went for those resources and found some supplies worth claiming or worth looking for.

Before leaving the place, I climbed up on top of that monastery building, which looked like the highest of this place by far. However, I had this cool view of the entire river valley and our longship waiting patiently in the harbor below.

And at last, I decided to get back to the longship and then I commanded my soldiers to row it towards our settlement. The rhythmic sound of the oars hitting the water was a peaceful contrast to the sounds of the battle we just won.

On our way, I commanded my warriors to try some songs, which gave us a cool mood as we navigated the winding river. The voices of my clan rose in harmony. And then we reached our settlement in no time, as it was not so far from the raid site.

I jumped off the longship and I walked towards Gunnar, who was eagerly waiting for me.

After getting to him, I built Gunnar's forge, where I would enhance and customize my weapons and gear, which costed me some resources from the raid. And after the building was complete, Gunnar was glad to have a forge bigger and hotter than his old forge back in Fornburg.
That's all for now.

Taking a moment to climb the highest point was a great choice, specially for those stunning captures. That view from the peak showed the scale of your victory.

Your screenshots looked amazing. The view over the river valley with the longship waiting below gave the whole post a cinematic feeling. Nice photos dude.
Using the bird to check the surroundings was a nice call. And I loved how you tried the aerial shots after climbing up on that height.
