The Whistle and Strike.
I cleared a river blockade by assassinating the soldiers at a guarded camp. After using haystacks and towers to eliminate the camp soldiers, I broke the locks on the machinery to release the chain. Rejoining the longship, we arrived at a settlement only to find it occupied by a ragged, hostile force.

There was this guard on the tower close to the chain, whom I assassinated easily with the hidden blade as soon as I reached the top. He never even heard me reaching him, allowing me to take his position and look over the rest of the camp.

Then I checked on the chain that was connected to some heavy machineries, which was the primary obstacle blocking our longship. I realized it would make a of noise if I released the chain right away, likely alerting every guard of the camp.

So I decided to fight the remaining soldiers of the camp, and I found one standing right below the tower when I was climbing down, I assassinated him.

After taking that soldier down, I climbed up the tower again to check the movement of the soldiers who were patrolling the outer perimeter. I wanted to make sure I knew where everyone was before I committed to the next part of my plan.

Then I jumped on that haystack from the tower ledge, landing silently in the straw. After a while, I whistled to attract a soldier towards me, so I could assassinate him from within the cover. He walked over with a look of confusion, leaning in to investigate the sound just as I lunged forward to pull him inside.

When I went for the assassination and pulling the soldier into the haystack, two more soldiers from around noticed the grim scene, which instantly broke my stealth.

I was still inside that haystack when the soldiers kept shooting me with arrows, hoping to pin me down or force me out into the open. I waited for a break in their firing cycle, timing my exit so I wouldn't be a sitting duck.

After jumping off the haystack, I ran and climbed on that tower again. One of the soldiers followed me up the ladder with his sword drawn, but I took him down as soon as he reached me.

There was the other soldier who was going back as he didn't find me. I tried an air assassination on him from the tower railing, which went smooth.

Then I found the last soldier of the camp who was like eating something in a relaxation mode. I assassinated him from behind after crouching to him sneakily.

When I knew there are no enemies left, I went for the chain and I released it by shooting the locks on the heavy machinery with my bow. The gears ground together with a loud metallic screech, and our river path was unblocked again as the chain sank into the depths.

Our longship came over to take me with them. I jumped off that place and I swam to the longship. My clan cheered for the success, and we prepared to set sail for our destination once more.

We continued our journey to reach the settlement, but after reaching close, it looked like something was not right. There was too little movement for any organized army or welcoming party to be present. The fires were low, and the docks looked abandoned, which raised Eivor's suspicions.

After getting closer to the shore, we noticed those are not Norsemen, as they are too ragged and soiled to be part of any proper fleet. They watched us with hungry eyes as we approached the docks. The clan decided to go prepared for a good battle, knowing that our new home was already occupied by hostiles.
That's all for now.

Even when your stealth broke, you handled the transition back to the tower height perfectly to regain the advantage. Watching the chain sink into the river was such a satisfying moment.
Anyway, the video didn't load for me.
Climbing back up the tower to regain control was a smart move too. Instead of panicking, you reset the fight on your terms, picking them off again one by one.
Taking out the guard while he was eating was a bit cold. But hey, a Viking's gotta do what a Viking's gotta do. The assassinations were performed perfectly.
That last part stands out. The quiet docks, low fires, and those people watching from the shore… it sets up the next conflict really nicely.
