My market experience

My first time visiting Lagos, I had heard a lot about the state, and I was eager to explore every niche of the state. I visited the mainland first, although I didn't stay there for long, and I decided to go to the island and see if it was what the hype was about or just overhyped. I enjoyed my stay there and then came back to the mainland.

So I wanted to cook soup and stew because it was the weekend and I needed to have food in the house. But my cousin told me that as I am going to the market, I should mind how I price their goods because some of them have anger issues and can transfer the aggression of a bad market or a bad day to me. If I make the mistake of pricing them below their cost price,

Did I listen? No way, I took the pattern of our pricing from the east to the west. I'm lucky that woman didn't have hot water; I'm sure she would have poured it on me.

I took my bag and went to the market with my cousin tagging along. Furthermore, I stop at one woman's store to get vegetables and some Knorr cubes. Her price was a little high. I priced her pumpkin leaf, and she told me it was 300 naira, and I was a little this small thing. Ma, Ma, please forget this dress; I don't have money.

She replies, As I fine finished , then with my expensive phone, I am still pricing this low. This pricing doesn't fit my status. We both laugh and finally reach an agreement. I pay smiling, but problem has a way of stealing one's smile.

I went to buy tomatoes, and I met this lady. She told me that her tomatoes are going for 500,I price for 200 hundred and she told me to come and steal them. She raised her voice and was calling me a thief. I was embarrassed and walked out and bought from her neighbor, but this woman kept cursing until I told her it was this bad character that would chase her out of her husband's house, not knowing that she was chased out of her husband true. That woman would have unalived me that day because I can see her anger.

Since then I have never ever engaged in an issue with the market woman again.
