That Monday was hell for me. I stood in the kitchen for about ten minutes, checking and touching everything, thinking about how to resume the bachelor’s life of cooking like a lady. I just wished I had married already so someone would be doing the cooking for me. One of my challenges that day was thinking about how to cook just one simple meal that would last for a day without giving me the need to warm it the next day so as to preserve the taste. However, cooking that way would mean cooking every day. Gosh! My brain almost knocked...

Did you expect to eat to stupor, but your parents, siblings, or spouse disappointed you by cooking what you were not prepared for, and you ended up starving on New Year’s Day?

• Did you resume work or school and encounter awkward and funny scenes that are still being talked about till today?

• January is almost coming to an end, but are you already done with your resolutions due to one happening or the other?
