Trust we're all having a cool weekend? Anyway, I am enjoying mine over here, and I do hope you do too.

Apparently, we all know that the iPhone 17 is out, and if you don't have it, should I say you're backwards or something like that.

I've seen a lot of people treat this phone like it's the second coming of God. My social media timeline, fyp are just flooded with unboxing videos, people that are carefully peeling off a plastic cover like they're unveiling a bride. Please I'm not a hater😅🤷

And yet here I am no iPhone 1 to talk more of iPhone 17. And you're probably wondering why I haven't gotten mine right? No iPhone 17, I'm still breathing, still scrolling my ancient device. E shock you abi?

See my dear, my reasons are valid so you know.

I so think my bank account and apple have an irreconcilable difference. Because, tell me why I haven't used an iPhone 1 yet, if there is one like that. We all know that this iPhone 17 cost more than the GDP of my village and even yours. Any time I decide to check the price of this phone, my account will always whisper "be serious Precious".

Maybe, just maybe all those flaunting and unboxing a rectangular glass and metal wants me to sell my kidneys to get an iPhone 17.😅

With my full chest, I still enjoy the idea of eating. Some folks think skipping three meals in a day is worth flexing that shiny apple logo in public. For now I just have to stick to my spoon and fork, iPhone 17 can always wait.

The craziest of it all is that my current phone has refused to die. Gosh....this is the rudest thing my phone has done. I keep waiting for it to give up, but no!! What I get every morning is "Good morning boss, what's the plan for today" like are you serious? How am I supposed to drop millions for an upgrade when this one I'm typing with has refused to give up.

Or just maybe Apple hasn't really given me what I want (allegedly 😅). Maybe when the iPhone 17 prevent NEPA from taking light or chases mosquitoes away when I'm enjoying my sleep, then I'd consider getting an iPhone 17, as I remain patient waiting for the next iPhone 18 next year, then I can get iPhone 17 that'd be cheaper by then.

Between, I should've gotten an iPhone 17 if I could, but I can't guyss. But despite not owning an iPhone 17 now, I don't feel like my life's collapsing. My humble device still works, my stomach is full, and my sanity is still intact. Don't worry I'll get an iPhone 17 probably when Apple adds a feature that can pay my bills.😅
