The Pelican Pooping Party- my entry into the 223rd edition of the Show Me a Photo contest.
Well hello there my friends of our feathered friends, I would like to share with you today the memories of the pelican pooping party that I came across at Quarantine Bay last week when I was down visiting Eden in New South Wales.

They look really nice when a bunch of them are in the air circling to land. Nice black and white pattern on the wings.
Yeah they are such amazing birds. They are so big, but manage to take off and fly so well.
I've seen a LOT of Pelicans over the years, always living near the coast, but this is the first time I have ever seen such a large group of them together, so I found it pretty awesome, especially to see their "homebase" too.
Its amazing seeing them gulp down a huge fish, they must have some epic stomach acid to be able to digest them whole like that.
Ahhh yes, some serious stomach acid, but I was also thinking about the sharp bits getting caught on the inside of their throats!
Pelicans are awesome, I like them and I am happy to see different species. Seems the cormorants like to join the party. 😀
