Haaa yes, my old flatmate knows that.

He thought that Indy- my Indian Ringneck and him were getting to be besties, so he went up to her as she was sitting on the door of her cage- which was always open when someone was home, and he out his hand out and she bit him on the thumb and it went almost all the way through his HUGE thumb and he has a hole in it for months after that- especially since he was a traveling balloon blower and needed to use his thumb all day every day....

Apparently she didn't even give him any warning screech- just went for it and bit down.
