Canticum Merú en su Café Concert con "The Beatrex" tributo a "The Beatles" [ENG/ESP]
Greetings to everyone in the community. Today I am joining you here to share with you a new day in my life. On this occasion, I will tell you about the event that took place yesterday, February 27, at the Canticum Merú headquarters, the Café Concert with a tribute to "The Beatles" by the band "The Beatrex." The purpose of this event was to raise funds for Canticum Merú. So it was very satisfying to see how little by little the place filled up, but first I'll tell you a little more about how it all went down. Join me.
Yesterday at around five in the afternoon, I arrived at Canticum Merú with my husband, who would be providing his services as a photographer for the day's event. Some girls had already arrived to help arrange the chairs and prepare the drinks and snacks that would be served that day. The band was also rehearsing when we arrived and had all the equipment set up so that everything would sound great. Little by little, people began to arrive, and by 7 p.m., the place was practically full. So, after a brief introduction to set the scene for all the guests, the band members came on stage and the show began. They kicked off with "I Wanna Hold Your Hand."
Saludos a todos en la comunidad. El día de hoy me uno por aquí para compartir con ustedes un nuevo día en mi vida. En esta ocasión les hablaré sobre el evento que tuvo lugar ayer 27 de febrero en la sede de Canticum Merú, el Café Concert con tributo a "The Beatles" por parte de la banda "The Beatrex". Tal evento tuvo cómo propósito, recaudar fondos en beneficio de Canticum Merú. Así que fue muy satisfactorio ver cómo poco a poco se fue llenando el lugar, pero antes les hablaré un poco más sobre cómo se llevó a cabo todo. Acompáñenme.
Ayer a eso de las cinco de la tarde, llegué a Canticum Merú en compañía de mi esposo, quién prestaría sus servicios cómo fotógrafo para el evento de ese día. Ya algunas chicas habían llegado allí para poder ayudar con el arreglo de las sillas y la preparación de las bebidas y snacks que se servirían ese día. También, la banda se encontraba ensayando cuando llegamos y tenían listo el montaje de todo el equipo que se necesitaría para que todo se escuchara excelente. Poco a poco fueron llegando las personas y a eso de las 7, prácticamente el lugar se encontraba bastante lleno. Así que luego de una breve presentación para poner en contexto a todos los invitados, entraron los integrantes de la banda y comenzó el show. Arrancaron con "I Wanna Hold your Hand".
The event was divided into three parts: the first half, intermission, and the second half. During these parts, they played songs such as Help, A Hard Day's Night, Let it be, Yesterday, Don't let me down, Here comes the sun, and other hits. I particularly liked their entire performance. The vocals were spot on, and musically speaking, they also brought a fresher personality to the show, making this tribute authentic. In short, they were themselves, enjoyed the moment, and stayed true to the spirit of The Beatles. I really liked it when they played "Now and Then"; it was beautiful. The finale was especially spectacular because they played "Hey Jude," and we were all eagerly awaiting that song. The girls from the choir joined in, as did the audience. It was a magical moment. The night came to an end and was a total success thanks to everyone involved: the musicians and their team, the backup singers and our teacher, the invited audience, and those who helped make this event a reality.

El evento se dividió en tres momentos: una primera parte, un entretiempo y la segunda parte. Durante los cuales tocaron temas cómo: Help, A Hard Day's Night, Let it be, Yesterday, Don't let me down, Here comes the sun y otros éxitos más. Particularmente me gustó mucho toda la presentación de ellos, fue bastante acertada en las voces y musicalmente hablando, también otorgaron una personalidad más fresca, haciendo auténtico este tributo. En pocas palabras, fueron ellos mismos, disfrutaron del momento y se mantuvieron fieles a ese espíritu de The Beatles. Me gustó mucho cuando tocaron "Now and then", fue muy bello. Ahora cuando llegó el final fue especialmente espectacular porque tocaron "Hey Jude" y ya todos estábamos ansiosos esperando esa canción. Se unieron las muchachas del coro y también el público. Fue un momento mágico. La noche culminó y fue un éxito total gracias a todos los involucrados en ello: músicos y su equipo, coristas y nuestra maestra, público invitado y quiénes dieron una mano para hace este evento realidad.

Ideal que se conserven esos tributos a grandes bandas como lo fuera en este caso Los Beatles, y mucho más si es por una noble causa.
