Concurso Jueves de TBT Mi hermano y yo [ESP/ENG]

Esta es la primera vez que publico en esta comunidad y me pareció algo muy bonito participar en este concurso porque en él podemos rememorar hechos de nuestro pasado 😊

This is the first time I've posted in this community and I thought it was a really nice thing to participate in this contest because in it we can remember events from our past 😊

En la fotografía que les estoy mostrando estamos mi hermano y yo y como pueden ver es muy antigua, yo tenía más o menos unos 3 años de edad y mi hermano solo uno. Éramos muchos hermanos, así que un día les tomaban fotos a unos y luego a otros, él y yo somos de los menores y aún faltaba por nacer mi hermana menor, en total, éramos 9 pero lamentablemente tres de mis hermanos fallecieron. De ese día en específico, me refiero al día de la foto, tengo muy vagos recuerdos porque obviamente yo era muy pequeña, pero algo que recuerdo en concreto es que yo estaba orgullosísima con mi vestido nuevo, así que mi intención era lucirlo y mostrárselo a todo el mundo 😄, por eso en la foto estoy con las manos a la altura de la falda, para que todos miraran mi lindo vestido. También recuerdo que nos daban muchas instrucción como "párate derecha" o "mira a la cámara" pero yo solo miraba a mi mamá, y otra cosas que también recuerdo y que me daba mucha risa, es que mi hermano constantemente intentaba salirse de las mantas que le habían puesto en el suelo, de hecho en la foto se ve que está haciendo el ademán de irse gateando, pero es que teníamos un perrito y mi hermano quería jugar con él.

In the photograph that I am showing you, my brother and I are there, and as you can see, it is very old. I was about 3 years old and my brother was only one. There were a lot of us siblings, so one day they were taking pictures of some and then others. He and I are the youngest, and my younger sister was yet to be born. In total, there were 9 of us, but unfortunately, three of my siblings passed away. I have very vague memories of that specific day, or the day of the photo, because I was obviously very young, but something I do remember specifically is that I was very proud of my new dress, so my intention was to show it off and show it to everyone 😄. That’s why in the photo I have my hands at the height of my skirt, so that everyone could look at my cute dress. I also remember that they gave us a lot of instructions like "stand up straight" or "look at the camera" but I only looked at my mom, and another thing that I also remember and that made me laugh a lot, is that my brother constantly tried to get out from under the blankets that they had put on the floor for him, in fact in the photo you can see that he is making the gesture of crawling, but the thing is that we had a little dog and my brother wanted to play with him.

Ahhh y acabo de acordarme de algo más, ese día llegó mi tía Lucía (supongo que fue ella quién trajo el fotógrafo) pero ella llegó con un muchacho que cargaba un saco de mandarinas y ella después empezó a pelarlas para nosotros, pero mi hermano (el bebé) se puso a llorar porque mi mamá no quiso que él comiera mandarinas, pensaba que estaba muy pequeñito y podía atragantarse.

Ahhh and I just remembered something else, that day my aunt Lucía arrived (I guess she was the one who brought the photographer) but she arrived with a boy who was carrying a sack of tangerines and then she started peeling them for us, but my brother (the baby) started crying because my mom didn't want him to eat tangerines, she thought he was too small and could choke.
