A beer to beat the heat 🍺
Every time the hot season hits, I remember what they said on a survival show, where they basically said that if you were lost in the mountains or the desert, extremely dehydrated, and suddenly came across a pack of beers, it was better to bathe in them than drink them. Well! I think that's true, I'm getting ready to pour several boxes over myself, because the heat right now is quite intense and desperate at the same time.
This has even sparked curiosity among people who apparently have never drunk beer. I say this because on one occasion a woman asked if beer was really that effective at quenching thirst. All that uncertainty on her part was the result of hearing many people say something like, "A beer to beat the heat," and boy, are there a lot of people who live up to that phrase right now, especially at midday. The truth is, you don't have to look or dig very deep to find the perfect excuse to have a cold beer, either alone or in company.

Even for lovers of strong, dry rum, beer is becoming the drink of choice, and I say this with complete certainty because I know many friends who, when going to the beach or the river, prefer to buy several cases of beer rather than a few bottles of rum. Even sangria is suddenly becoming another option because it is a drink that you can also enjoy when it is very cold and serves to refresh you. How cold do you like your beer? Well, here some people ask for a beer "dressed as a bride," which refers to the external appearance of the can or bottle when it is quite cold or practically frozen.
For sellers, this can also be an important factor to consider. I say this because I often notice that people's preferences are not so much influenced by price (unless there is a considerable difference) but rather by how cold the beers are. It's like the complete opposite example that happens with food when you go to a restaurant and they serve you something that, no matter how tasty it looks and tastes, loses its essence if it's not served hot or at least at a cool and pleasant temperature for eating.

When the heat is extreme and intense, we may even forget about our favorite beers and, in order to quench our thirst, we give in and try other beers. I remember one time we were at the river and suddenly the only beer available was Polar Black, and although most of us there didn't drink that kind of beer, at the end of the day it was our only option. Extreme conditions can also lead us to make extreme decisions where we forget about our preferences or whims as we try to combat the heat at all costs.
So, a beer to combat the heat? Let's hope that, regardless of the weather, we don't stop enjoying a cold beer to have a good time.
Cheers to everyone! 🍺🍻

This is #BeerSaturday week and I would like to invite @abisag @angeluxx to write a post in any language about beer with at least 3 pictures.
All photos belong to me.
Thank you for valuing this publication with your time and attention.
See you soon.
I ve really missed drinking beer.
I am trying to save up some money, prices are gone wild and I am not buying extra things these few months
Good strategy my friend. Sometimes we don't have enough money for these little things that end up being necessary and special. 🍻
The thirst for beer exists, and I have proof of it haha... Buddy, we owe ourselves a few 'for the heat'😊.
We really owe each other more than one box... make it Solera beer, please 😄🍻🍻
