Hello Draw A Day community Yes you read that right this is a re-issue of the previous contest that I had forgotten I am so sorry for that and so I thought I would bring this prompt 4 back. We had one entry from @artofkylin and that is a valid entry for this reissue of the contest. Oh dear Kylin how could I have missed this part? Anyway the contest is back and live and I will let it run for two weeks to give more time for the participants to think about their concepts. I am also changing the prizes a little bit
Theme: Writing, Maps & Symbols
How do the Forest Folk communicate, navigate, and record their world? Do they carve characters into tree barks, leave glowing moss symbols along paths, or weave patterns into cloth? Do they draw maps on leaves, knot vines to mark safe trails, or invent pictographs only their kind understand.
For this prompt, imagine and illustrate the Forest Folk’s systems of writing, mapping, or symbolic expression. Your piece could focus on an ancient scroll, a traveler's map, an alphabet of hidden signs, or a ritual emblem passed down through generations.
