Hello friends and members of the Draw A Day community!
We're excited to announce a fun new contest for all artists to join. Whether you prefer digital or traditional art, we welcome all creative expressions, no matter your skill level. This is a chance to showcase your talent, explore new ideas, and have fun with the process.

Theme: Homes of the Forest Folk
Imagine how the Forest Folk live—what their houses look like, what they’re made of, and how they blend with their surroundings. Are they nestled in mushrooms, tucked beneath tree roots, hanging in hammocks between branches, or woven from leaves and moss? Maybe each creature has a different kind of home. Think cozy, earthy, and full of charm.

Draw a home that fits into this mysterious woodland world. You can show the outside, the inside, or both—whatever helps tell the story of who lives there.

How to Join:

  1. Create an original drawing or painting inspired by this prompt. Both digital and traditional art are welcome to be used in the contest, and all skill levels are encouraged to participate.
  2. Post your entry in the Draw a Day community on Hive with the title: Forest Folk Worldbuilding Contest - Prompt 1: Homes of the Forest Folk.
  3. Include a short description of your artwork (what inspired the design, what kind of creature lives there, any special features).
  4. Submit your entry before this post expires (7 days from the posting date).

Judging Criteria:
I will evaluate entries based on:

Creativity: How original and imaginative is your interpretation of the prompt?
Detail: How well does your artwork explore the idea of a Forest Folk home?
Artistry: The overall appeal of your artwork, including composition, colors, and style.

Prize:
The winner will receive 2 HIVE Tokens as a reward and a special mention in the announcement post.

Thank you to everyone who's participating and supporting the contest. This new series is a chance for us to build something magical together—one drawing at a time. We appreciate your creativity and heart. Keep drawing, keep imagining, and let’s shape this world piece by piece.

We can't wait to see what kinds of homes your Forest Folk live in
