Shadow Hunters SMASh Contest - Round #416 Spring Shadows II [Eng/Esp]
Happy Saturday Shaow Hunters community! Wishing you a happy and restful weekend, I come to share with you my participation in the SMASH contest in its round #416 and the shadow that I come to share with you today is a mosaic of shadows projected by the bushes of one of the many squares that my beloved faculty has, although to be honest, this square and green space is more recent than it seems. Originally, this space was a small soccer field where I spent hours playing defense. It's interesting because the biology and chemistry students played soccer, while the physics and mathematics students played ping pong. Looking back, we certainly had different tastes and perspectives!
The truth is, what was once a modest soccer field was renovated and transformed into a plaza, and well, I think it was for the best. The problem was that many people—professors, students, and administrative staff—used that area, which always caused problems. So, a proper soccer field was built at the exit of the faculty building, and this space ended up becoming a plaza where various trees and shrubs are cultivated. In many cases, botany students use them to teach second-semester biology students how to use taxonomic keys to identify plants.

Right now, as the dry season is beginning, the sunny days are starting, although from midday onward, the mornings are still cloudy and cool. We're in a sort of transition period, and the best part is that the afternoons, with their sunshine and clear skies, have given us this magnificent shade from the bushes. It was certainly a hot day, but I enjoyed it because of the sharp shadows they cast on the ground. It was almost 4 pm, and the sun was moving west, which gave the shadows their angle, allowing you to appreciate not only the leaves but also the branches of the bushes. Some of these bushes are already blooming because it's their season; perhaps in a future post, I'll share photos of the shadows they cast when they flower.
I hope you enjoyed these spring eyeshadow looks. Now I'll be encountering some interesting shades, since during these dry months the sky is mostly clear and the sun shines brightly, so the biggest challenge will be finding a truly creative eyeshadow look these days. Feliz sábado comunidad de Shaow Hunters! Deseándoles un feliz y reparador fin de semana, vengo a compartirles mi participación en el concurso SMASH en su round #416 y la sombra que vengo a compartirles el día de hoy es un mosaico de sombras proyectadas por los arbustos de una de las tantas plazas que tiene mi querida facultad, aunque para ser honestos, esta plaza y espacio vegetal es más reciente de lo que parece. Originalmente este espacio era una cancha de futbolito donde pasaba horas jugando la posición de defensa, es interesante porque los estudiantes de biología y química jugábamos futbolito, mientras que los físicos y matemáticos jugaban ping pong, viéndolo en retrospectiva si que teníamos gustos y perspectivas diferentes!
Lo cierto es que lo que antes era una cancha modesta de futbolito se reacondicionó para convertirla en una plaza y bueno, creo que era lo mejor, pasa que en ese lugar circula muchas personas, profesores, estudiantes y personal administrativo lo que siempre generaba problemas, entonces se construyó un verdadero campo de futbol a la salida de la facultad y así este espacio terminó convirtiéndose en una plaza donde se cultivan distintos árboles y arbustos que en muchos casos los usan los estudiantes de botánica para instruir a los biólogos del segundo semestre en el uso de claves taxonómicas para identificar plantas.

Justo en estos días, que ya están comenzando los días de la temporada seca del año, los días soleados están comenzando aunque a partir del medio día en adelante, las mañanas todavía son nubladas y frías, es decir estamos en esta especie de transición y lo bueno de todo esto es que las tardes con lo soleadas que son y gracias al cielo despejado, nos ha regalado esta magnífica sombra de los arbustos. Ciertamente el día estaba bastante caluroso ya pero lo disfrute por lo marcado de las sombras que estaba generando sobre el suelo. Ya eran casi las 4 pm y el sol ya se estaba moviendo al oeste, eso le dio la inclinación a la sombra que se generó y por eso no solo puedes apreciar las hojas, sino también las ramas de los arbustos. Algunos de esos arbustos ya están floreando porque es su temporada quizás en un próximo post les comparta las sombras que se generan de estos arbustos al momento de florecer.
Espero que que les haya gustado estas sombras de primavera, ahora es que me encontraré con sombras interesante, ya que en estos meses de temporada seca la mayor parte de los días el cielo esta permanentemente despejado y el sol brilla con gran intensidad, así que el mayor desafío será cazar una sombra bastante creativa en estos día.
