• Of all the species in the animal kingdom, if you could be one of them, which one would you choose? Which one would you identify with and why?

I confess that at the beginning of the question several animals came to my mind, which led me to make a list of each one and I discarded them according to the qualities and similarities associated with me. For this exercise I would choose to be a butterfly, because I consider that they go through an interesting transformation that includes several stages. It is a whole process or life cycle that begins with some little eggs on a leaf that can go unnoticed, to give way to the caterpillar, here it goes through a transformation called metamorphosis and then a beautiful butterfly will appear.

Then, I would be a butterfly with colorful wings flying through the gardens, resting my light little legs on the delicate flowers, butterflies symbolize freedom and lightness, they are like traveling souls that wander aimlessly. I think butterflies teach us to see life as a process of constant learning and to overcome each stage of the life process.

They are very popular, we have all at some point followed them with our eyes and why not when we are children we have run trying to catch one but their flying agility does not allow us to reach them. The striking colors of their wings make them so different from each other.

I admire them because they symbolize hope, change, beauty, freedom and transformation.

• De todas las especies del reino animal, si pudieras ser una de ellas, ¿cuál elegirías? ¿Con cuál te identificarías y por qué?

Confieso que al principio de la pregunta se me vinieron varios animales a la cabeza lo que me llevó hacer una lista a cada uno y fui descartando según las cualidades y semejanzas asociadas a mi persona. Para dicho ejercicio escogería ser una mariposa, porque las considero que ellas pasan por una transformación interesante que incluye varias etapas. Es todo un proceso o ciclo de vida que comienza con unos huevecillos en una hoja que pueden pasar desapercibidos, para dar paso a la oruga, aquí pasa por una transformación llamada metamorfosis y luego aparecerá una hermosa mariposa.

Entonces, sería una mariposa de alas colorida volando por los jardines, posando mis ligeras patitas sobre las delicadas flores, las mariposas simbolizan la libertad y la ligereza, son como almas viajera que andan sin rumbo definido. Pienso que las mariposas nos enseñan a ver la vida como un proceso de un constante aprendizaje y a superar cada etapa del proceso de vida.

Son muy populares, todos en algún momento las hemos seguido con la mirada y porque no cuando estamos niños hemos corrido tratando de agarrar una pero su agilidad voladora no permite que las alcancemos. Los llamativos colores de sus alas las hacen que entre ellas exista diferencias.

Las admiro porque simbolizan la esperanza, el cambio, la belleza, la libertad y la transformación.
