Breaking limits,not people
People seek recognition and meaning, often measuring their worth by comparing themselves with others, this is competition.Competition amongst humans is a natural and complex phenomenon that arises in virtually every aspect of life economics, education, relationships, sports, and even survival itself,it's the drive individuals have to excel, often by outperforming others. The present day society is often built around hierarchies ,winners and losers, rich and poor, leaders and followers. Competition reinforces these structures, without competition I don't think there would be a distinction between this hierarchies.
Competition serves as a foundation to sponsor growth, the aim of competing is so we are able to grow to a certain level, it's more like a strive to break previous limits,Limited resources like jobs, wealth, fame, education force people into rivalry to secure them cause there's always a need to push forward.
Healthy competition seeks to break our limits into someone better,it drives us to be creative, improve, and build better solutions in the society, not to exajurate but competition is the reason why individuals are challenged to develop discipline, resilience, and excellence, let's not even talk about how it
leads to better products, services, or even systems in our modern world or society. In my opinion this is how competition can be healthy or in other words affect the society positively.
Regardless of the fact that competition aids us positively,it also has negative impacts if not guided intentionally.Becoming too conscious of competition brings you to a point where you begin to constantly compare yourself to others, this acan damage self-worth and mental health and even self esteem. In most cases when the pressure to win becomes too high, people may resort to unethical means which might be dangerous or critically unhealthy, the cuase of competition can foster envy, hatred, or hostility, harming the competitor, the community and even the entire cooperation.
"When one begins to pursue success defined by others instead of what aligns with their true values or calling then they're losing their mind already"
So even in our course for competition and growth or the inspiration to do better there has to ne a balance if you must protect your mind from getting darkened,We can archieve this by strivimg to be better, not to beat others, learning to focus on self improvement, not just victory.Great progress often comes from teamwork and sharing knowledge not staying in isolation for the sake of competition,Instead of competing with people, compete with your previous self, Win against your old limits that's how you monitor and track your growth.
In conclusion, I'd say competition amongst humans is a double edged sword capable of driving excellence, but also capable of breeding envy, division, and insecurity when left unchecked. While it's an inevitable part of life, the key to healthy competition lies in how we approach it. When rooted in self growth, fairness, and mutual respect, competition can uplift individuals and motivate them to archieving whatever they put there mind to, But when fueled by ego, scarcity, or the need to outshine others at all costs, it becomes destructive.
So compete wisely
