Monomad Challenge | The Day of the Book

It's already been two weeks since the unveiling of my first book. I still look at it on the top of my desk and can't believe my eyes. Fortunately, it is a reality and it is also available worldwide via Amazon.

The day of the presentation was a funny one. Not funny in the sense of laughs, but of all the weird things happening. It was raining the whole day. Sometimes it was heavy and others, a spray. I got a rash on my face after shaving. I had to take some pills and use a cream I had not seen since the days of smallpox.

Getting to the place was not hard. I was carrying run and glasses and something for my illustrator. The presentation went smoothly. I did not talk too much since all the work had been already done. Besides, a book of haikus needs little presentation. I read some poems and we went about the rest of the event.

To start my part of the show, I invited my teacher to play some songs with me. It was the best way to do something before showing off another part of myself.

We had a long toast. Getting all the congratulations and praise from friends and attendees was charming. In the end, I got invited to the party of the other member of the workshop who had his book published. It was a night of drinking whisky. And before gong there, I had to share some chocolates and quality time with @octocel.

Overall, a nice day to present a book.
