Phone Photography Contest N° 95; View of the Church of Saint Agnes and the city center at sunset (Eng - Esp)
Greetings fellow photography enthusiasts and members of the @feelgood community! I hope you have a wonderful weekend with your loved ones. This is my entry for the 95th edition of the phone photography contest moderated by @untilwelearn. I'm sharing a series of photographs of the city's historic center and the Santa Inés Church. These photos were taken from the birthplace of Antonio José de Sucre, a high vantage point that offers a view of various buildings in the city and the iconic Santa Inés Church. You can see part of the Santa María de la Cabeza Castle to the left of the Santa Inés Church, as well as several other buildings in the city and historic center structures distinguished by their reddish tile roofs.
Saludos amigos amantes de la fotografía y comunidad @feelgood, deseo que tengan un excelente fin de semana, en unión de sus seres queridos, esta es mi entrada para el concurso de fotografía telefónica moderado por @untilwelearn, en su edición número 95, les comparto una serie de fotografías del casco histórico de la ciudad y la iglesia Santa Inés, las cuales fueron tomadas desde la casa natal Antonio José de Sucre, una zona alta que permite apreciar diferentes construcciones de la ciudad y la emblemática iglesia Santa Inés, en ellas se observa parte del castillo Santa María de la Cabeza, al lado izquierdo de la iglesia Santa Inés, varios edificios de la ciudad y construcciones del casco histórico que resaltan por su techo de tejas en color rojizo.
The photographs were taken in the afternoon and show the color of the clouds, the setting sun, the main towers of the church, and the altar dome. In the next photograph, taken as dusk was falling, we see the Santa Inés Church again, part of the registry office at Sucre's birthplace, some city buildings, the monument area, and a view of the Araya Peninsula. Then we see the Santa Inés Church again, closer up, and the brick roofs. The sky has various colors in shades of purple, blue, and pink. At this time of day, the view is very beautiful, and I really liked the contrast between the sky and the landscape.
Las fotografías fueron tomadas en horas de la tarde y se observa el color de las nubes, el ocaso del sol, las torres principales de la iglesia y la cúpula del altar, en la siguiente fotografía ya avanzado el atardecer, observamos nuevamente la iglesia Santa Inés, parte de la oficina de registro en la casa natal de Sucre, algunos edificios de la ciudad, se alcanza a ver la zona del monumento y una vista de la Península de Araya, luego vemos nuevamente la iglesia Santa Inés más de cerca y los techos de ladrillo, el cielo tiene varios colores en los tonos morado azul y rosado, a esta hora del día la vista es muy hermosa y el contraste del cielo con el paisaje me gustó mucho.
