Phone Photography Contest N° 94; Models representing the colonial era, on the 510th anniversary of Cumaná (Eng - Esp)
Greetings to my friends at #Hive and the @feelgood community! I hope you have an excellent and blessed weekend. This is my entry for the phone photography contest moderated by @untilwelearn, in its 94th edition. During the celebration of the 510th anniversary of the city of Cumaná, at the "Nights of Yesteryear" event, I had the opportunity to see beautiful models recreating different moments in Venezuelan history. One of them was a model depicting an indigenous person and Christopher Columbus's caravels, with a banner and a wooden ship or caravel in the foreground. In the following photograph, you can see the caravels in the background, the sea, and the ship in the foreground. You can see the helm, the railings, and a space where children, especially, could take the wheel and have a wonderful experience, or at least be little sailors and enjoy an adventure on the beautiful blue sea.
You can also see several clouds, a palm tree, and the sand on the beach. I really liked this caravel for its lovely and simple design.

excelente y bendecido fin de semana, esta es mi entrada para el concurso de fotografía telefónica moderado por @untilwelearn, en su edición número 94; durante la celebración de los 510 años de la ciudad de Cumaná, en las llamadas noches de Antaño, tuve la oportunidad de ver hermosas maquetas, que recrean diferentes momentos de la historia de Venezuela, una de ellas fue la maqueta donde se aprecia un indígena y las carabelas de Cristóbal Colón, en un pendón y al frente una nave o carabela de madera, en la siguiente fotografía se aprecian las carabelas al fondo, el mar y esta al frente, se observa el timón las barandas y un espacio donde los niños principalmente, podían llevar el timón y vivir una hermosa experiencia o al menos ser pequeños marineros y disfrutar una aventuras en el hermoso mar azul.
Se observan también varias nubes, una palmera y la arena en la playa, esta carabela me gustó mucho por su lindo y sencillo diseño.
Another model is an archway leading to a colonial house. The arch is white with gold and silver flowers. Next, there's a small house with its own balcony. The roof is tiled and decorated with flowers on the sides. This balcony is made of wood and has a small staircase for access. The top is decorated with gold-colored balls. The next model represents the San Antonio de la Eminencia Castle, one of the city's most important buildings. It shows one of the sentry boxes, a cannon, and lamps from the colonial era. It's made of cardboard, and the paintings are very beautiful and realistic, both in color and in the details of the lines, which simulate the castle's blocks.
The next one is a model representing La Carraca, where General Francisco de Miranda was imprisoned. The bricks, their colors, and design are very realistic. I think it's one of the models with the most realistic colors and attention to detail. There's also a bed, several tables, books, and a clay pot. The last one is a model alluding to the province of Cumaná, as this beautiful city was also known, which later became the capital of the state of Sucre.
Otra de las maquetas, es un arco que conduce a una casa colonial, el arco es de color blanco con flores doradas y plateadas, luego tenemos una pequeña casa con su respectivo balcón el techo es de tejas, está decorada con flores a los lados, este balcón es de madera y tiene una pequeña escalera para poder acceder a él, en la parte de arriba está decorado con bolas de color dorado, la siguiente maqueta representa al castillo San Antonio de la Eminencia, una de las construcciones más importantes de la ciudad, en ella se observan una de las garitas, un cañón, así como lámparas correspondientes a la época colonial, está hecho con cartón y las pinturas son muy bonitas y realistas, por su color y detalles en el trazado de las líneas, que simulan los bloques del castillo.
La siguiente, es una maqueta, que representa la Carraca, donde estuvo preso el General Francisco de Miranda, los ladrillos, sus colores y diseño, son muy realistas, me parece una de las maquetas con los colores más reales y atención a los detalles, también hay una cama varias mesas, libros y una vasija de barro, la última es una maqueta alusiva a la provincia de Cumaná, como también se conocía a esta hermosa ciudad, que posteriormente se convirtió en la capital del estado Sucre.

Such places are best for taking the younger generation to, because the important history that they might not even learn from books is presented to them in these exhibits in a unique and visually appealing way. :)
Greetings @untilwelearn, it's a wonderful celebration where important moments in history are brought to life. Whenever I can, I go with my son so he can learn about significant events in the city's history through these incredible reenactments.
