RE: Weekend-Engagement #266: What activity in your life would you say you're the most uncomfortable doing and why? What could you do to improve that situation?

You'd not like Ecuador. There's always an excuse not to pay. So, I just fix everything myself, if I can. Luckily, I own all the furniture (except the built in closets), so that is not much of a big deal.

I have a good relationship with my landlady because of that. She knows that whenever I call her about something, it's really serious and I can't do it. And since I do everything else myself and don't bother her too much, she has a handyman come quickly and get it done.

There is the other side here though, too. I know a fair amount of people who rent out their buildings, and the stories they tell... Tenants taking all the light bulbs are the softer ones, the most incredibly was when someone took the toilet.

Those experiences are one of the reasons I don't want to own, but prefer to rent, and be a good tenant 😅

Same here. Well, I was actually able to repair a lock a couple of times. First time was a drag, as it took me very long to understand how the insides work, but then it got easier.
