Pic 1000 || Ray of hope.

What I see

I see a young girl with ginger coloured hair, sitting down on a stone staircase, with her face placed on her knees. Her backpack is beside her while her shadow lurks behind her.

What I feel

I feel that she's either tirwd or unhappy. Maybe something is bothering her and she decided to rest a whie to pondr on her challenges.

Story

Anita was at her wits end. She didn't know how to maneuver the obstacles that seemed to warm their way into her life, like they belonged with her. She was barely an adult yet with only two years shy of being legal.

How could life be so cruel to her. She did her best to be outstanding and not cause any trouble. Yet, trouble seemed to follow her trail like moths to a broght light

There were hurdles at home, in school and at the market even. She was not safe anywhere. She felt like giving up but who would understand her or even come to her rescue.

Does she dare to hope?

Does she dare to seek out light at the end of her dark tunnel?

Anita was exhausted. She dragged her feet out of the Janitor's closet where she had hidden away for more than four hours of school time, out of fear of meeting her thorn in the flesh. At the sound of the school closing bell, she snuck out , ever so slowly. She was on high alert, not wanting to be caught.

She didn't take her normal route home. There was nothing that belonged to her in that house especially since Harris, her stepfather appeared. She's known as the black sheep of her family. What a pity she thought to herself.

Feeling overwhelmed with the weight of all that was happening in her life, she decided to go to the one place where she knew that she could be sane. The stone park.

There, she sat ever so lightly on its cold stone stairs. The rays of the sun didn't help alleviate her sorrows one bit. She sat there for only God knows how long. In deep thought until her head began to ache. She bemt her head, its weight supported by her knees. Hopefully, that light would shine through her life, brightening it for good.
