An Ecencial's experience...Hn-wk #111.

My path to hive was through one main gate. I never knew that there were many other gates to hive and so I stuck with what I knew for a while until I was introduced to a very beautiful gateway, that is more beautiful than King Solomon's gate, hehe.

I kid you not, this gateway on hive is really good and upon mastering the basics, it has long become my utmost favourite frontend when creating and posting my contents here on hive. In fact, my subconscious mind just lets me click on the app on my phone whenever I want to make a post now.

,Okay ill come clean and sya it. The frontend I am referring to is the ecency frontend......yay!

Asking why I am excited? Don't worry I'll tell you in a bit. You see I have been on hive for close to three years but I got to know ecency frontend a little over my first year on hive. It all started when I was told by a friend here on hive that I could earn points just by commenting with ecency. *I was attracted by the rewards but I stayed when I saw how the frontend values its users.

What's more, ecency comes with a beautiful blue interface that makes using the frontend so interesting (and blue happens to be my favourite colour).

After getting to know about ecency, I recall using more of the frontend to support the posts of other hivers on #dreemport. I was a lively #dreemerforlife and back then, #dreemers had to read and curate the posts of other hivers. I showed support for others using ecency frontend by reading, commenting and upvoting the posts of other hivers.

I earned points daily for doing just that. Then, I took it a step further by learning how to create and post my contents through the frontend and ever since then, it has been ecency all the way. Posting on ecency is pretty easy, orderly and straight forward. Even uploading pictures on ecency is a piece of cake.

Except for posts for communities which specify using a particular frontend, I am always posting with ecency. I can't seem to stop myself, I'm hooked….hehe.

On my phone, I have the ecency app but I also make use of the ecency web from time to time, depending on what I need to do. For instance, I find swapping my tokens from hbd to hive easy with ecency web. I can also boost my hp with ecency web by just converting some of my ecency points. It is very easy and a win for me.

Ecency also allows its users to promote their posts, by exchanging some points and such posts will be dispersed to a wide array of users on the block chain, thus granting more visibility to those posts.

I recently got to understand another beautiful feature on ecency and that is the ecency waves feature. This feature allows ecency users to engage with one another in small talk just like tweeting. It also offers a separate space to post your thoughts and good wishes to other users.

Another beautiful feature of using the ecency frontend is that users can become eligible for ecency curation when they post their content through ecency frontend and they can even get picked for prizes like hive and ecency points for simply being ardent usesr of the frontend. Believe me guys, no other frontend does these things.

Ecency frontend also makes sure that users never lose any notification by responding with swift notification alerts when there is any visit to your post. Whether it is a mention, an upvote, a comment, a follow or unfollow, ecency will bring it to your notice.

I have also come to notice that using ecency frontend is data friendly unlike using some other frontends that require large amounts of data before your information can load.

Even with poor network service, ecency will still function and keep users abreast with up-to-date notifications. If the problem is from their alogrithim, ecency will send a notice on their #discord, letting users understand the situation, as they work on fixing the problem (but that rarely happens).

Ecency also offers its users the opportunity of becoming guest curators. All you need to do is simply state your interest on their discord channel and if you are lucky, you will become a guest curator with the responsibility of upvoting valuable contents on hive.

I have a lot more beautiful things to say about the ecency frontend but I believe that with the little that I have said so far about ecency frontend, you can all tell that I have a deep affection for ecency.

What's more, ecency is the only platform that has a genuine group name for its users. If you didn't know this, then you might not be an ecency user because all ecency users know that they are cherished Ecencials.

I'll rest my pen here because I believe that with these few points of mine, I have been able to reveal a bit of my experience with ecency Up Ecencials!
