My younger self must learn a good communication skill
Hello everyone, I came across this topic and was wondering if there is any possibility that I could speak to my younger self and change somethings in my life, One thing stands out; I would tell my younger self to do better.
One thing I struggle so hard to deal with today is communication, yes communication has a way of helping anyone achieve success in life but in my case, I don't have good communication skills, I am sure some reading this content will relate to what I am saying because they have had times misunderstood my way of communication.
Growing up, I had no single time to communicate with people neither did I bother to learn how to communicate with people, I thought that I didn't need people, and it had a great impact on my adulthood. It worsened if all my profession is a field where we are taught how to have good communication with people, but we graduate to practice the opposite of what we learned.
During my teens I always think am smart enough it doesn't mean if I can communicate well besides am not seeking for any prominence so it doesn't matter, unfortunately today I have the opportunity to lead and train people and because I lack communication skill some who have come across me while teaching or training have concluded that am a rude and proud person but unfortunately that's a fat lie.
My younger self can do better
If my wishes can come true, I will strongly advise my younger self to learn how to communicate with different types of people because communication helps to build strong relationships, strong businesses and strong family bonds.
I will advise her to learn how to communicate mildly passing a strong message without hurting anyone emotionally or mentally, good communication skill will help her to know when to speak and when to remain silent that will help her progress in her career in life.
If I had learned how to communicate very well with people of all sort I would have avoided some unnecessary confusion or problems I had with people that created animosity between us today, unfortunately most of them are not my fault but because I couldn't communicate very well things got bad.
My younger self will have to learn a whole lot when it comes to communication because right now, it's a hurdle for me to readjust and learn how to communicate with people when I am already in a position of training and caring for people.

STOPWow, but it's not too late to learn, it's just a matter of determination and mingling with people of like minds. Or locate any Rotary / Rotaract club in your area and join , it will help you.
Sure gradually am adjusting but I would have been better if I started earlier.
If you teach him how to communicate gently, how to convey a strong message without hurting someone emotionally or mentally, then he will definitely be able to master these things well when he grows up. Not everyone has the ability to communicate, but it's good to try.

Not everyone is good at communicating so I believe with time you will learn
Good communication is a skill, not everyone has it. It's never too late to learn. You can also get some books on that , you'll definitely improve. We all need it for personal and business relationships
