First of all, I must say that the lion's mane, with the leaves from the trees, looked spectacular. You had a great idea. The park you visited is also beautiful, full of sunshine that illuminates the intense green of the trees, and you were able to identify several species. In the case of one, even though it was past its flowering season, with a little help, you did it.
I love those places where there is so much shade and you can walk among the trees enjoying nature. The walk was entertaining, looking for leaves to make that beautiful craft, and you had a wonderful time with your friend. What more could you ask for? The photographs are spectacular and the place is beautiful. Thank you very much, hugs!
Antes que nada decirte que la melena de león, con las hojas de los árboles te quedó espectacular. Tuviste una gran idea. Además el parque que visitaste es precioso, lleno de sol que ilumina ese vede tan intenso de los árboles y pudiste ideantificar varias especies, y en el caso de una, aun cuando había pasado la epoca de floración, con un poco de ayuda, pero lo has hecho.
Me encantan esos espacios donde hay tanta sombra y se puede caminar entre los árboles disfrutando de la naturaleza. El paseo estuvo entretenido buscando hojas para realizar esa hermosa artesanía y pasaste un momento espectacular junto a tu amiga. Que más se puede pedir. Las fotografías son espectaculares y el lugar precioso. Muchas gracias, abrazo!

Saludos @avdesing, me alegra que te haya gustado el león se ve tierno y original con su melena de hojas, el parque es hermoso y tiene una excelente ubicación en la parte trasera lo bordea el río Manzanares, la vista desde este punto es espectacular, además tiene abundantes árboles y arbustos a lo largo del terreno, el cual está cubierto en gran parte con grama, además de los árboles ornamentales hay frutales como el Mango, muy común en el pais y Tamarindo.
Identificar un árbol sin las flores, en ocasiones resulta complicado, tal vez no se presta atención a la hoja, solo a la flor y en este caso el Apamate es conocido en la ciudad por sus hermosas flores rosa con el centro amarillo, he visto mucho de ellos y no había observado en detalle las hojas, mi atención se enfocaba en las flores.

Greetings @avdesing, I'm glad you liked the lion; it looks cute and unique with its mane of leaves. The park is beautiful and has an excellent location; the Manzanares River borders it at the back, and the view from there is spectacular. It also has abundant trees and shrubs throughout the grounds, which are largely covered in grass. In addition to the ornamental trees, there are fruit trees like the mango, very common in the country, and the tamarind.
Identifying a tree without its flowers can sometimes be difficult. Perhaps we don't pay attention to the leaves, only to the flowers. In this case, the Apamate tree is known in the city for its beautiful pink flowers with yellow centers. I've seen many of them, but I hadn't observed the leaves in detail; my attention was focused on the flowers.
