Refajo, Colombian flavor/ #BeerSaturday #438🍻

Thanks to the invitation from @florecitamejias, today I'm joining the #BeerSaturday Challenge in its 438th week. And with my birthday just two days away, this invitation came at just the right time and gave me the perfect push to treat myself and decide on a refajo, a Colombian drink that I tried and liked, even though I'm not a fan of soft drinks or sodas, as they say here.
Refajo is a very traditional drink in Colombia, made by mixing beer with soda, especially the one known as Colombiana or malta. Colombians love to prepare this combination to enjoy at barbecues, grills, or family gatherings because it is refreshing and perfect for sharing the joy of being together. So much so that the Postobón company launched a ready-to-drink version, known as Refajo Andina, which mixes beer and soda directly. I tried it here for the first time a while ago, and today I'm having one to take part in the challenge that @florecitamejias invited me to and to start celebrating my birthday🎂.

Gracias a la invitación de @florecitamejias, hoy me animo a unirme al Reto #BeerSaturday en su Semana # 438. Y justo ahora que faltan apenas dos días para mi cumpleaños, esta invitación me cayó como anillo al dedo y me dio el empujoncito perfecto para darme un gustico y decidirme por un refajo, una bebida colombiana que probé y me gustó, aunque no soy amiga de los refrescos o gaseosas, como dicen aquí.
Les cuento que el refajo es una bebida muy tradicional en Colombia, surgida de la mezcla de cerveza con gaseosa, especialmente la que se conoce como Colombiana o malta. A los colombianos les encanta preparar esta combinación para disfrutarla en asados, parrillas o reuniones familiares, porque resulta refrescante y perfecta para compartir la alegría de estar juntos. Tanto es así, que la empresa Postobón lanzó una versión lista para tomar, conocida como Refajo Andina, que mezcla directamente la cerveza y la gaseosa. La probé aquí por primera vez hace tiempo, y hoy me tomo una para participar en el reto al que me invitó @florecitamejias y para comenzar la celebración de mi cumple🎂

The mixture creates a fresh, light drink with a very pleasant sweet touch. I like it because it's not as strong as beer on its own, as the soda softens the alcohol content and leaves it at just 2.1%. Its golden color comes from the lager beer, and the flavor is wonderful: the bubbles, the perfect sweetness, and the slight bitterness of the beer blend together perfectly, creating the ideal combination when you want to enjoy a truly refreshing drink.
Today, I'm enjoying it as I celebrate this challenge, getting ready for my birthday, and celebrating the arrival of Christmas, which is in the air 🎄

La mezcla crea una bebida fresca, ligera y con un toque dulce muy agradable. Me gusta porque no es tan fuerte como una cerveza sola, ya que el refresco suaviza el grado alcohólico y lo deja en apenas 2.1%. Su color doradito es porque está hecho con cerveza rubia y el sabor es una maravilla: la burbuja, el dulzor justo y ese amarguito suave de la cerveza se mezclan de forma perfecta, creando el maridaje ideal cuando lo que uno quiere es disfrutar una bebida realmente refrescante.
Hoy lo disfruto celebrando este reto, calentando motores para mi cumpleaños y celebrando que llegó la Navidad y se siente en el ambiente 🎄
