Between action, romance, and life lessons🎬🍿❤️
Greetings, my dear Ladies of Hive. Happy day to all of you; I hope you are doing very well and enjoying good health and well-being.
I’m back in the community to participate in the 286th edition of the contest that our beloved Ladies of Hive invite us to join every week. This time, I’ll be answering one of the questions posed by our friend @marivic10:
Are you a fan of horror or action movies, or do you prefer romance? Tell me about a movie that taught you an important lesson.
I lean more toward action, suspense, and romance movies. I like that mix of intensity, adrenaline, and, at the same time, the sensitivity of human emotions. There are two movies that have stayed deep in my heart and taught me valuable lessons: Life Is Beautiful and The Pursuit of Happiness.

Estoy de vuelta por la comunidad para participar en la edición #286 del concurso al que nos invitan, semanalmente, las estimadas Damas de Hive. En esta ocasión, daré respuesta a una de las preguntas que nos ha propuesto la amiga @marivic10:
¿Eres fanático de las películas de terror, de acción o te gusta más el romance? Cuéntame sobre una película que te haya enseñado una lección importante.
Me inclino más por las películas de acción, de suspenso y las de romance. Me gusta esa mezcla entre la intensidad, la adrenalina y, al mismo tiempo, la sensibilidad de las emociones humanas. Hay dos películas que se han quedado en lo más profundo de mi corazón y que me dejaron grandes enseñanzas: La vida es bella y En busca de la felicidad.
Life Is Beautiful is a movie that taught me that love can transform everything, even the most difficult moments. What struck me most was the father’s attitude—the way he protected his son, using imagination and love as a refuge. It made me think about how, even in the midst of chaos, there is always a way to cherish our feelings and support those we love.
That movie taught me that reality can’t always be changed, but the way we choose to live it can. That, even in the midst of it all, life can still be beautiful, and that hope is a very powerful force.
La vida es bella es una película que me enseñó que el amor puede transformarlo todo, incluso los momentos más difíciles. Lo que más me marcó fue la actitud del padre, su manera de proteger a su hijo, usando la imaginación y el amor como refugio. Me hizo pensar en cómo, aun en medio del caos, siempre hay una forma de cuidar lo que sentimos y de sostener a quienes amamos.
Esa película me enseñó que la realidad no siempre se puede cambiar, pero sí la forma en la que decidimos vivirla. Que, incluso en medio de todo, la vida también puede seguir siendo bella y que la esperanza es una fuerza muy poderosa.
What touched me most about The Pursuit of Happiness was the way the main character never gives up, even when life throws him some really tough challenges. It made me think of all those times when you doubt yourself and want to throw in the towel.
That movie taught me that perseverance, even on the hardest days, is incredibly valuable. That believing in what you’re building, even if the path isn’t clear yet, is also part of the process. And ever since then, I’ve tried to remind myself that every small step counts, that moving forward slowly is still moving forward, and that even in the midst of uncertainty, there’s always something to keep going for.
These two films left me with a profound reflection. And that is that, without a doubt, a father’s love can become the greatest source of strength to endure, protect, and keep moving forward.
Lo que más me conmovió de En busca de la felicidad fue la forma en que el protagonista no se rinde, aun cuando la vida le pone pruebas muy duras. Me hizo pensar en todas esas veces en las que uno duda de sí mismo y quiere tirar la toalla.
Esa película me enseñó que la perseverancia, incluso en los días más duros, es increíblemente valiosa. Que creer en lo que estás construyendo, aunque el camino aún no esté claro, también forma parte del proceso. Y desde entonces, he intentado recordarme a mí misma que cada pequeño paso cuenta, que avanzar lentamente sigue siendo avanzar, y que, incluso, en medio de la incertidumbre, siempre hay algo por lo que seguir adelante.
Estas dos películas me dejaron con una profunda reflexión. Y es que, sin duda, el amor de un padre puede convertirse en la mayor fuente de fuerza para resistir, proteger y seguir avanzando.
