Shadow Hunters Community SMASh Contest - My Assistant In Hunting Shadows

Four hundred reporting weeks of shadow hunters are behind us, and we have begun the fifth hundred. I don't always take part in the hunts, but I watch the shadow trophies with interest and often see beautiful specimens.
During my Sunday walk, I decided to build a tower out of stones to do a landscape photo shoot. But my companion couldn't ignore what was happening and decided to help me with the construction. However, her help turned into a small tragedy — the tower fell. But if you look at the right side of the picture, you can see an interesting shadow. What can you imagine?
Shadows are often more interesting than their owners. In this shadow, I saw some kind of zombie creature, a zombie dog without a head. But if you use your imagination, the shadow from the tower can be imagined as a dog's head, or more precisely, a large, elongated skull, and then it will look more like something otherworldly. Or maybe my imagination just ran wild.

An experienced cinematographer and editor could probably turn this pile of stones into a real medieval castle, as is often shown in movies using ordinary models, but with the right film or photography, they look like real knight's castles.

There is the sun, and there are trees. Our task is to find not just a solid shadow, but something more elegant. To do this, my dog and I have about five minutes to walk through the forest to the road and not fall on the ski trail while descending the mountain.

Voilà, mission accomplished. At the turn before the next descent from the mountain, the trees showed me their shadows.
